Really friendly staff and a great locay

Being right by the 18th hole of the Old Course was amazing!

Im grossen und ganzen gut, Zimmer Nr. 6 war klein und direkt an der Lüftung. Wir waren 3 Nächte im Haar, leider war die Lüftung für uns sehr störend, die 1. Nacht bis 23.45 Uhr, die 2. Nacht ok und die 3. Nacht Lüftung bis 22.30. Für Personen die früh schlafen möchten ist dieses Hotel (Zimmer 6) nicht geeignet. Frühstück ok, wurde erst am 3. Tag gefragt ob wir Toast möchten und wie wir die Eier zum Frühstück möchten.

The location was FABULOUS! We were 100 yards from the first tee of St. Andrews Old Course! We loved the place and staff, but the bed was stated on Orbitz as being king-sized and it was a double bed that was quite soft.

Haar Rooms were conveniently located to the St. Andrews Links courses. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. David in guest services is amazing and was a pleasure to have help out during my stay. I would come back in a heartbeat. No parking on site was a small deterent, yet there was parking up the side street near the Haar which was relatively easy to secure.

This place was absolutely delightful. Will try and return on my next visit!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room is very small so there’s not much room to move around in it. It was warm and the Dyson fan helped some. Breakfast was lovely - coffee, juice, yogurt or porridge and choice of egg dish. Location was perfect.

Lovely intimate hotel, excellent location, extremely comfortable bedding, wonderful in-room amenities. Staff was exceptional. Food was good and drinks were excellent! Will definitely stay again!

Nice place to stay. Room was small. Up a couple flights of stairs, no elevator Needed 3 different door lock codes to get to room, one at street, one for rooms section and then one for individual room, each had a key code box you had to manually code to get in. Good security, but a single coded key card for access would be much easier Great location to explore St Andrews Parking several blocks away in public lot with getting lucky to find the spot. Parking is very challenging Breakfast was delicious

Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!
