The most incredible hotel in Taormina. I have stayed in the other two and the Palazzo Vecchio is by far the best. It is situated beautifully above and set back from the main promenade and has the finest rooftop terrace I have experienced. The staff - especially the restaurant were wonderfully accommodating. Our room was gorgeous, large and incredibly well-furnished. Bravo!

I'm spoiled. More pricy than I usually spend but so well worth it! Our rooms were lovely (Hotel graciously accommodated a room mix-up.) Little extras here and there. Breakfast was lovely, and the sky bar commanded fantastic view of Mt Etna. Lovely staff (even sent us off to the airport at 4 in the morning with fresh strawberries and croissants.) Hotel is right in the heart of charming Taormina.

Beautiful and

Stunning palazzo with historic charm and incredible views of the sea and the Etna. Valet parking was available and easy to access as the palazzo is located in the pedestrian area. We booked an executive junior suite for family of 3, the sofa bed is small/twin size, which was a little surprising to me but the view made up for it. We only had breakfast in the restaurant which looked beautiful but we usually prefer to walk around and try something outside of the hotels.

The staff was AMAZING. Food in the restaurant was also excellent. Hotel is beautiful!

Palazzo Vecchio Taormina is an amazing hotel! It is a Palazzo that has been wonderfully and tastefully renovated. My room had an incredible view of the sea and the bells from an old church nearby. Waking up and looking out of the window and facing the morning light was unforgettable. I have stayed in many top hotels around the world- besides the above, what distinguishes this hotel is the people working there- the staff at the restaurant (Armando, Vincenzo) are outstanding. The staff at reception as well! I had a massage with Giovanna that was perfect after a morning hike from Castelmora to Madonna della Rocca to Taormina - highly recommended! All in all a fantastic experience at the Palazzo Vecchio where the staff made me feel so welcome!

very friendly staff

The staff was exceptional. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is gorgeous and our suite had a stunning view of the Ionian Sea. The mattress was wonderfully comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I loved seeing Andrea every morning. However, I would skip the restaurant, it was disappointing. There are many other great restaurants in Taormina. I highly recommend the Palazzo Vecchio. Truly terrific!

Great experience all around. Welcoming friendly staff that were always happy to assist with any needs. Rooftop bar a must. Only complaint is the free standing tub / shower situation. Not comfortable to use and it flooded the bathroom every time since there is no curtain or proper drainage.

Fantastic stay at Palazzo Vecchio. The personnel was attentive, the facilities and the room were spotless and the rooftop bar has by far the best view of the town, the sea and Etna. On some nights they also have a DJ. We did not try the restaurant for dinner but it looked atmospheric at night. If you can, try to book a room with sea view. We arrived by car and they had valet parking service which made life easy.

Incrível. Hotel pequeno, com luxo na medida certa, especialmente no atendimento muito simpático e eficiente. Mirian, Salvatore da recepção e o Salvatore do guest service foram impecáveis. E destaque especial para a massagem da Giovanna no spa. Nota 10!

Un fantastico boutique hotel nel centro di Taormina dove verrete coccolati fin dal primo istante. Camere meravigliose, curatissime in ogni dettaglio, una sala ristorante orangerie di prima classe, una colazione fantastica, assolutamente irripetibile, un ristorante con piatti raffinati e di gran qualità. Personale gentile, premuroso, disponibile completano un albergo dell’anima dove ritornerete con grande gioia.

The place is a gem, service is personally handled and speak to Miriam who is a professional and splendid customer service person with serious experience. The food is excellent, location is very nice, just be aware it is on the right side of a Pizzeria where you have to climb up stairs. I did advise them to put a sign as there was no sign and you have to climb up some stairs it is on the top. Splendid hotel with a personal service that is hard to beat. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel and staff we really enjoyed our stay. Antonio (reception) was especially helpful organising transfers and trips for us. The rooftop bar has excellent cocktails and views!
