My stay at this inn was good for the price. It would have been better if they would have accommodated luggage storage on check-out day.

外国人観光者向けのホテルです。 周りに観光スポットがたくさんあり、観光客には便利です。大浴場は3人入ればいっぱいなので、時間別に貸し切りにするのは外国人観光客には好評と思われます。しかし、好きなときに風呂に入りたい、朝風呂を楽しみたいといった私のような客にはちょっと不便です。特に観光目的ではなかったので、駅から遠いこと、分かりにくい場所、コンビニが近くにないことがマイナス点でした。

Location is good, room is clean, bed is comfortable. The most amazing part was the private hotspring!! It was my first time to take the Japanese hotspring, the bath is hot enough to warm up my body. The hotel also provide a sign that advised how to take a hotspring bath. Really helpful especially for me. Just a bit pity that no many stores opened at night, also stairs are steep, be careful once you have luggage with you.

It was a nice stayover, and the front desk staff was very heartwarming.We arrived before check-in time, and they allowed us to drop luggage first.Then we walked to Nara Park, Toudaiji, and Kasuga Temple, where we met lots of Nara deer. The weather was a bit cold but might be very beautiful during cherry blossom season. The room was in Japanese style with tatami and mattresses, which is good for people who are not used to Japanese beds. What we were not so satified with was that the room was small and the TV was small; there was no refrigerator in the room. There was a washlet and a wash tank in the room.The air conditioner looked pretty new and worked well. Ryokan also provided private hot spring bathing time, around 40 minutes. We enjoyed the private hotspring time and actually had fun. We really enjoyed the time and are glad we had a stay-out in Nara.

No nos gustó, fuimos solamente una noche y se siente tan incomodo estar ahi. El personal es muy indiferente, no te ayudan en nada.... Y ni se diga que no hay elevador, tienes que subir muchas escaleras, y si vas con maletas... es horrible. Si pudiera pedir un reembolso, sin duda lo haría.

Fint, men litet rum. Bra system för bokning av bad påmolats. Men personalen pratade dålig energiska vilket gjorde det svårt att kommunicera t.ex. om byte av kudde eller vita grejer i badet. Överlag var allt dock bättre än vad tidigare recensioner gjort gällande och jag är nöjd med vårt val. Du bör dock veta att detta inte är ett ryokan, snarare ett ganska bra budgethotell.

Terrible

Le personnel était très accueillant malgré le peu de connaissance en anglais. La chambre était très propre grande et très confortable dans un atmosphère parfait de ryokan. Le Onsen privée était parfait et propre. Nous avons vraiment aimée notre nuit à ce Ryokan

La calidad y precio concuerdan

I am extremely disappointed in my experience here. I have been staying connected with the host to reserve private onsen for myself but the time I wanted was reserved and not available. I was offered a time that I’m not available but the staff kept saying why can’t I change my plans to meet their reserved time or do the mixed gender baths. The staff lack the ability to communicate in English. This space is small and not worthwhile. I traveled back and forth but didn’t get to dip in an onsen once. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated about the ability to communicate with the staff while they kept saying “it’s ok, it’s ok” but nothing is okay. There are too many restrictions and limited reservation times for onsen. Might be worthwhile to go to a 24 hour onsen then book them but you risk not having much privacy. The staff also have false information about luggage delivery and sent me to a convenience store 3 minutes away then I had to take it back to the hotel because the convenience store doesn’t deliver. This hotel doesn’t seem to have escalators or elevators available so have fun if you’re on the third floor.

This is a great way to experience an “authentic” ryokan - it has bathroom facilities but otherwise it’s futon, tatami matting and green tea. But the best feature by far was the ‘ofuro’ the delightful hot bath. A booking gets a guest 50 minutes of calm relaxation. Remember that there are no meals but there are plenty of small local places for dinner and breakfast. Just delightful!

The location is in a quiet area with lots of restaurants (though be aware many close by 6 pm). Room is a good size, but there is no elevator and stairs to the second floor are quite steep - something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. Matress on tatami floor was very firm, but comforter is warm and fluffy. There is no way to darken the windows, though, so light comes in throughout the night from a neighbouring sign, and it only gets brighter as the dawn starts. There is also minimal/no sound priifing - we could hear every whisper in the hall, every door opening and clicking shut, and music from another room throughout the evening. Private onsen time is nice, and the water is quite hot but comfortable (for us). The bathing area is clean. The massage chairs were nice to use after soaking in the onsen.
