We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. The included breakfast was OK but was timed this time around with half an hour slots. But we were OK with this. Plenty of onsite parking. We had a party of 15 for a family meal in the restaurant/bar. Good menu choices. We didn't experience this, but others in our group had no hot water (they were staying in the annex). Would probably stay again despite the cold rooms, but probably visit in the summer instead.

The breakfast was fine but it would be nice if the drinks could be refilled.

We were in a function room at the other end of the biulding and had to keep walking through people dining to get to the bar and the toilets if i was having a meal there it would anoy the life out of me people keep walking through and the breakfast was under cooked hardly anything left to eat and £3 for an extra cup of tea 1 tea bag and a drop of hot water come on u can have as many as u like at are house free

Well kept modern rooms and hotel

Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! My husband complained at reception but they just said ok I’ll let them no… with no apology. Also check in not very welcoming! Also they have spoilt the countryside views by putting an 8ft fence up ! We will be looking elsewhere to stay next time!

The shower hardy worked with very little power. The breakfast was of a very poor basic quality.

Very tired, comfy bed but room and bathroom needs attention. Breakfast poor, very hard fried eggs and tough bacon, self service so pre cooked. Asked for another cup of tea during breakfast and told I would have to pay, not good.

Asked when you sit down if you want tea or coffee which is the brought in a mug, during eating breakfast asked if I could have another tea, told it would have to be paid for.

The service by the staff on our arrival was excellent, and it was the same again, when we came back for an evening meal.

Everything was lovely could not fault a thing ..first class hotel

Room just ok, nothing special Decorating not great, wallpaper damaged in areas, Chair at dresser damaged and afraid to sit on it. Bathroom needs improvement, shower only just warm enough on highest setting. Breakfast on Sunday morning very basic. Much better choice on the Monday morning (why offer less choice on a weekend)

The staff were courteous. The bed was comfy, slept well. Food was good

Nice clean room, lovely view of the countryside. Matteress a little soft for our tastes but okay. Would definitely use again when in this area
