The area was very quiet but close to Borgarnes. Great Breakfast items in fridge for you to cook/ make breakfast. Great place to stay :)

我訂到的是二樓的房間，樓梯很陡，大件行李難以運送。基本上，就是一間老房子改裝。木頭的，大家動靜會聽得很清楚，介意的話，就住不了。床單乾淨，起居室很溫馨，還提供紙本景點路線供撕取，很貼心。房間鑰匙圈是羊齒骨，有意思。 樓下是雙人床，樓上是兩張單人床，如果手腳不便，記得別選二樓。 其他設備還好。

The place is an old postman's house. The stairs were v narrow n one of the step is on itz last leg n u mght bonk ur head while going up/dwn these stairs carrying heavy luggage like we did. I think tis place culd use replacement steps to get to top floor. This is an old house n I appreciated the old wrld charm while having ample brkfst options n fully equipped shrd kitchen but I found tis to b the least pleasant experience of all the places I stayed at in iceland. It had an early chkout which I didnt realize and the owner was v nice n accomodating but my experience here was not great because it was hard to share the small kitchen space w/2 other families. I also felt it was overpriced for wat it was or that might b because I bked it v close to our stay here.

La maison date de 1895. C’était vraiment très mignon et décoré à l’ancienne. L’escalier pour le deuxième étage est très abrupte. Je ne recommande pas pour les personnes ayant peur des hauteurs! Il est difficile de monter des gros bagages, mais j’ai beaucoup apprécié notre grande chambre à l’étage. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de locataires en même temps que nous. Nous avions la salle de bain du haut pour nous seulement. Pour le déjeuner il y avait vraiment beaucoup de choses à disposition. J’y retournerai à sans hésitation.

Quaint old home, each room has its own bathroom. Host leaves fridge full and a table of breakfast amenities. Full kitchen. Comfy beds. Lots of parking.

Great place. They have food available for you to make your own breakfast. They allow you to put food in the frig while you are there.

This place is unlike any other guesthouse we stayed in. It is a loved structure, lovingly restored with a fascinating history. The hand-built steep stairs are a wonder of carpentry! The kitchen is well organized and well-stocked. We happened to meet the owner and their daughter and loved our conversation with them. They gave us a deeper insight into rural life in Iceland and sowed us details of the house we would not have known about. Recommend highly!

Room was fine, bed comfortable, kitchen facilities and sitting area very nice.

Really great stay, luckily had the site to myself. Home had an antique farmhouse charm in the countryside. Equipped with all the amenities to enjoy a nice night in or prepare you for a little adventure in the city. Stayed in the upstairs loft, again rustic and original. Great view of the sky from all angles. If you stay at this guesthouse I highly recommend giving yourself to enjoy the space. Also listen to the birds outside on the veranda while the sun sets and a glass of whiskey. Slainte

My second time here, I love this place. Clean cosy room, great breakfast and perfectly winter dark for aurora.

Anna was very nice and breakfast options were great! You do have to cook your own meals however.

Wonderful & cozy stay! Everything was clean, neat & host was generous to provide a good variety of food for breakfast. Those staying second floor there’s slight steep stairs thus lesser luggages would be good. Location was easy to find with Google Maps. Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you!
