Made reservations to stay at this property from Monday to Thursday and once I arrived at the property, I called per the instructions to get the lockbox code for the key, I was told by the on call person managing the property that they did not receive the notification from Orbitz yet and to call their customer support.. I contacted support and they tried calling but the on call person did not pick up.. I called again after talking to support and got the property manager on the line to be told that the place has been rented to someone else and that they traditionally don’t refund and she would see what could be done… after 3 more email updates from Orbitz/Expedia support over the course of 3 days by Orbitz/Expedia staff, I was told they couldn’t get a hold of the property manager and that I that I was out almost a $1,000.00..
