The Riad was perfect! The location could not have been better. Just down a quiet side street from the main street of the medina. You cannot drive to the Riad because it is within the pedestrian zone but its location is only a few minutes walk from where your taxi will drop you. There are also people ready to cart your luggage for a small tip if you can't manage on your own. The riad is 3 stories and the stairs are a little work, but it is so charming and so well decorated that it's completely worth a few extra steps!

This is a hidden gem in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech -- we can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly received and LOVED the ambiance and decor of the riad. Our room was *very* comfortable and provided a uniquely local Moroccan experience. They offered to serve breakfast at the time that worked for our schedule (it was a WONDERFUL, homemade, multi-dish breakfast). Dining in the open-air courtyard was a delightful start to our day. Riad Dar Al Amal is easy to access from the street, and in a quiet corner, nestled at the end of a Medina passage. We had an interest in a particular restaurant in the Medina, and they called in advance to ensure a table would be available for us and gave us walking directions. The hospitality, comfort and cleanliness of this riad are exceptional and we won't stay anywhere else on our next trip to Marrakech!

This is an ancient property. We loved the experience of staying in this riad inside the medina. This property has old furnishings with old fixtures and no updates. We were able to look past that for the experince of staying withen the medina. No regrets but would not repeat.

This hotel is perfect if you are backpacking and want to stay in “old town”. We had several bags and carrying them up a small spiral staircase was difficult. Ladies who ran the riad were pleasant but didn’t speak English.

The Riad Dar Al Amal provided me with a memorable experience amongst the wonderful surroundings of the Riad/ Medina in central Marrakesch. The ladies who hosted me in the hotel were warm, welcoming, kind and helpful. They provided an appetising local breakfast with the famous mint tea, served on the ground floor amongst traditional and elegant architecture. My simple double bed room, was sufficient and classic, where I enjoyed the peace and quiet within the facility. The roof terrace was also another welcome addition for views and relaxing. Super fijn verblijf gehad in deze riad gelegen midden in de medina dichtbij alle kraampjes en restaurants. De riad ligt ook dicht bij een grote weg om afgezet te worden of te worden opgehaald. Verder is de riad erg knus en zeer goed onderhouden de kamer was erg schoon het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en het personeel was vriendelijk

Very sweet ladies that run this Riad. Was a perfect authentic place to stay. Steps away from the Medina. A little hard to find but once you do, no problems. Awesome place !

Negativo: - taxi más caro que el precio oficial (150 dirham con el hotel) a pasear que sean 100 dírham el precio oficial del ayuntamiento. - no limpiaron la habitación durante nuestra estancia. - Bahía es adorable y muy atenta. La otra mujer más mayor es muy desagradable y maleducada. - el desayuno se resume básicamente en un pan con mantequilla, 3 uvas y con un café o té. Tuvimos que ir a desayunar fuera al poco después. - falta de luz en la habitación Positivo: - habitación limpia. - Buena ubicación en la medida. - wifi. - Resumen, una gran decepción y una relación calidad precio no adecuada.

The Riad was exactly what I expected. The staff was outstanding… honestly they couldn’t have been better. Room was great and the rooftop is the perfect bonus.

A good central location in the Medina area but the room was lacking. There was no proper separation of the bathroom and sleeping area, an air freshener spray was all that was provided. Also there were loud arguments between the staff and arriving customers. The room was very compact, I would.advise against the ground floor room. Higher floors look better. The stairs to the roof garden were steep and difficult, if you are tall you need to constantly duck down. The roof garden was pleasant and peaceful, a good place for a relaxing sunset.

We loved staying here and didn’t want to leave. We loved the decor of our bedroom and bathroom and loved having breakfast in the courtyard every morning. The roof terrace was lovely too. I also can’t say enough about the women who run the riad who were so lovely despite the language barrier. It can be a little hard to find at first as cars can’t access the road and the door can’t be seen inmediately, so I would advise looking on Google Maps first

An absolute gem in the middle of Medina. The staff ladies are especially welcoming and kind. Theyre always aroubd to help even when you arrive late. Both the ladies always had a smile on their face and despite our language barriers, made us feel right at home. The owner is always available on whatsapp and offers great recommendations. Walkable distance to souks, jemma el fenn and the medina market. Taxi stand is 3 mins walk. Overall a great place to stay

Amazing stay at Riad Dar al Amar - being a solo travellor visitng Marrakech for the first time, this Riad was second to none. The attentiveness of the host, hospitality and overall warming welcome made my stay in Marrakech one to remember. I greatly thank Riad Dar Al Amar for their services and beautiful place. Do not hesistate to book this Riad its a true reflection of a 5 star Riad.
