バードウオッチングに最適な環境でした。

夜8時頃からポッサムの餌付けがあり1頭やってきました。野生動物なのですぐには来ないこともあります。この時は10時頃やってきました。 野鳥も朝目の前で見ることでき感激しました。 キッチンがあり自炊して過ごしました 自然の中にあり素晴らしい体験ができました。 ケアンズ市内のショッピングセンターで食材を調達すると良いです。簡易クーラーボックスが日本で言うショッピングバックとして確か1ドルで店頭に売っていたと思います。

You can stay with wild animals in the forest. very good

まず、立地は良い。すばらしい。そして、なによりワイルドライフというコンセプトがすばらしい。実際に野生動物がいくらか出てきました！感動しました。 施設は古いです。しかし、掃除はそれなりに行き届いているので不潔な印象はありませんでした。 レセプションの方のオーストラリアなまりがすさまじく、また、観光地のホテルであるような、英語圏以外の人に対して、スピードを遅くしたり、簡単な表現をつかうような配慮がありませんでした。終始にこやかで、とってもいいかんじの方でしたが、それでもコミュニケーションには苦労しました。 とにかくコンセプトがすばらしい宿なので、英語ができれば、がんばって行ってみる価値はあると思います！

地球の歩き方には、オーナーが動物ウオッチングと、レクチャーをしてくれる、とあったが、ナイトツアーなどは行われていなかった。ただ、明け方の熱帯雨林の中の雰囲気は素晴らしかった。周辺の散策路は結構細いので、一人だと心細くなるほどだった。

フロントのおじさんがとても親切で、周辺の散歩コースなどいろいろ教えてくれた。朝、ベランダに小さくカットしたフルーツを置いとくと、小鳥たちが食べに来て、とても可愛かった。

場所は多少わかりにくいですが、大自然の中での宿泊ができるのですから仕方ないところでしょうか。 wildlifeというだけあって、本当に色々な自然を体験させてくれるホテルです。 お部屋に日が当たらないので多少カビ臭いお部屋でしたが、設備は問題なくそろっていました。 ムササビや数々の小鳥たち、ワラビーに出会うことができる、素敵なホテルでした。

Lovely rainforest location! Comfortable rooms and good kitchen facilities. Loved walking in the forest and observing the animals during the nightly feeding. I will note that the shower was frequently cold in the evenings and very low pressure.

A very unique experience staying deep into the rainforest but not far from town. The lodge was comfortable and the bathroom relatively new. The staff were excellent.

Great position in the rainforest. Well equipped apartment. A short drive to Atherton and lots of tourist locations.

We had a great stay - we loved the Bushwalk directly from the Wildlife Lodge and all the information about the wildlife. Also the team there is so helpful and friendly.

The property is beautiful! The staff were very friendly and very informative about the local area and the best spots to see wildlife. Great walking trail around the property with lots of birds and other tree creatures. The rooms were nice, bed was comfy. You don’t need an AC, the fan + windows were more than enough. During our stay the highs were 26c but because the location is in a forest, it kept the place cool. Along with the animal viewing platform, the pool deck was a great spot for star gazing! Highly recommend this gem!

Love the bird life and the sound of nature.

In general I loved the experience, the sights and sounds of the rainforest are amazing. The weather wasn't kind to us and a power cut within an hour of arrival did have us thinking we might not stay but we persevered and we are glad we did. The property is 3 star so don't expect luxuries, go for the experience. Hosts are friendly and the amenities are good. Handy for Platypus hunting at Yungaburra and the Tablelands in general.

A very nice stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There isn’t any air conditioning but the room was very comfortable and the combination of ceiling fans and open windows works a treat.

Excellent for bird watching. Mobile service isn't great, next time will be prepared for it, it's a great place to unplug. Very pretty area and the staff were awesome.

The Lodge is missing some TLC Fridge not defrosted, we had to do it. Bathroom not was they advertised. The Lounge was neglected.
