景色を楽しもうとテラス付きの山側の部屋を予約しましたが、殆ど駐車場で顔を出せば山側といえる程度でした。 一番眺めのよいところはサロンになっていて出入り自由でよい景色ですが、部屋から景色を楽しむという感じではありません。 朝食は宿泊客全員でひとつの丸テーブルを囲みます。客同士会話を楽しむことができれば（少し語学ができれば）よい感じで楽しめるでしょう。 夕暮れの景色を期待していたのですが、雨が降ってしまい天気には勝てないというもののちょっとガッカリでした。 着いた日がかなりの強風で要塞の城壁に登るのはかなり怖くスマホを持って行かれそうな気がしました。充分気をつけて下さい。街を囲む城壁の上を歩いて廻ることができます。

ホテルオーナーが全てにおいて気遣いをしてくれて一生懸命なのが伝わってとても良かった。そこまでやらなくてもいいんだけど。。。というレベルで頑張っている印象があった。 ホテルは清潔で広く快適。構造上他の部屋の音が聞こえてしまうため満点にはしなかったが、十分に満足行くホテルだった。

ホテルスタッフはとてもフレンドリーで気さくな感じ。 部屋は小綺麗で十分な広さ。 朝食を頂くダイニングに隣接するバルコニーからの景色が最高でした。 まさに天空の城からの眺め♪

Alojamento encantador com vistas maravilhosas. Local excelente, dentro das muralhas da vila, próximo do castelo. Vários restaurantes a cerca de 5 minutos a pé oferecendo menus de pratos deliciosos inspirados na região. O pequeno almoço é mesmo à medida dos desejos de cada um, mas os anfitriões desdobraram-se em gentileza para proporcionar uma estadia com todo o conforto, como se estivéssemos na nossa própria casa. Vamos voltar!!! Charming accommodation with beautiful views. Excellent location within the walled town and quite close to the castle. There are several quality restaurants within a 5 minute walk offering delicious regional dishes. Breakfast is plentiful, meeting anyone's palate and wishes. Marvelous hosts going out of their way in attention and kindness to provide a comfortable stay and to make you feel at home. We will be back!!!

Quarto espaçoso e confortável. Entretanto banheiro é de cortina.Tem estacionamento ao lado, mas é público. Não é garantida a vaga para estacionar. Acredito que todos os hoteis dentro dos muros não tenham estacionamentos. Café da manhã ok. Boa cordialidade dos proprietários. Não tem restaurante no estabelecimento. Localização ok.

Cute inn located in Marvao, an ancient fortified village perched atop a hill. Inviting public areas include a common lounge area with complementary port wine and a veranda with a beautiful view of the valley to the west (great for sunsets). Helpful and friendly host. Breakfast is included; you choose from a list of options the night before. Very convenient parking adjacent to the hotel, (once you enter the city gate, it's relatively easy to reach the hotel by car if you just follow the inside of the city wall). Good a/c. Free WiFi, though the signal inside the room was sometimes weak. Nice-sized bathroom, though towels were a little rough. There were several pillows, but I found them either too hard or too soft for my neck. I feel that the room could also benefit from additional lighting.

A blissful location in a fortress village perched on the edge of a steep cliff face, giving an excellent view for many miles. The accommodation is good and the host is very knowledgeable of the history and things to do and see in Marvao.

Chambre très bien située dans l'enceinte du château. C'est dommage que notre chambre était un peu bruyante entre la rue peu passante mais avec des voitures et la porte d'entrée. Les autres chambres semblent mieux exposées. Les propriétaires parlent français et sont très sympathiques. Bon petit déjeuner. La vue de la terrasse est magnifique.
