修道院を改装したホテルとのことで、雰囲気は抜群。 確かに、部屋の大きさや設備からすると値段は割高ですが、ヨーロッパの雰囲気を味わいながら、のんびりとプール横やテラスで過ごすのは最高

ホテルの廊下などには古い家具など展示され、博物館のようでした。 部屋はバルコニー付きで、山と川が見えてまるで高原のような感じで視界に建物がないので、カーテン不要で、凄い解放感でした！ エアコンがないので、夜暑くて窓を開けることになりました。これが唯一のマイナスでしたが結果的には虫も入る事無くて、初めから開けて寝たほうがいいみたいです！ 田舎なので、交通の便についての情報がないので、レセプションに相談したのですが、65以上と思われる優しいおばあさんが時刻表まで印刷してバスや鉄道での移動方法を教えてくれ、とても助かりました！ 村は小さいが歴史あり、居心地いいところだと思います。

I thought the place was very good when I arrived the hotel. The room had good view and the town is very pretty. However, our room was irradiated too bright light (beam) from the opposite side of the river since the early evening. Then we had to close the curtain, and we could not enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then the very loud musics started. It was very noisy although we shut the twofold windows. It continued to the mid night.

3泊4日滞在しましたが、一週間位もっとゆっくり滞在したいホテルです。地元の食材を使った美味しい朝食から始まって、お部屋から見えるドナウ川の移りゆく景色やホテルのお庭のバラ園、プール、清潔にお掃除されているお部屋、ホテルのスタッフ全て素晴らしかったです。

旅の最終日の宿としてドナウ川のほとりのこの宿を選びました。部屋は充分に広くフェミニンな調度・内装で大変素敵でした。ウイーンの空港まで車で1時間程ですので帰国の前日を過ごして疲れを癒すのに絶好の場所でした。

昔修道院だった場所ということで、建物も趣があり、とてもインテリアも素敵です。中庭にはプールもあります。部屋からはドナウ川の眺めも。部屋も広く、清潔でキレイです。バスルームも広く、ハンドシャワー＆バスタブ付き。ロケーションもドナウ川すぐで、メインストリートにも駅にも徒歩すぐです。町自体小さいのですが。。。。かわいい街並みでとてもかわいいです。ゆっくりした気持ちになれますよ～。朝食も夕食もおいしかったです！おすすめです！

Great location right on the Danube. Serene garden view or river views are very calming. I love how they’ve converted this 11th/12th century property still maintaining some ancient structures and artifacts into modern living space. The owner takes special pride in every little detail. Wish we had more time to explore this beautiful town and surrounding countryside. Will definitely come back and tell our friends too.

This was a such a charming hotel in the most charming village. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. (Rooms do not come with refrigerators and they arranged to have one placed in my room for my medication). As it was an old monastery the atmosphere is magical. Be careful you could spend your entire time here at the pool and in the gardens they are so peaceful. The room was perfectly air conditioned even though it was in the upper 90s. We paid for a room with a view of the Danube and the view was perfect. You will be thankful you booked a stay at the Richard Lowenhertz.

If you’re looking for the best place to stay in the Wachau, this is it. Dürnstein is the jewel of the region and this is a beautiful, classy and unique hotel with gorgeous gardens, a nice outdoor pool and views of the Danube. The restaurant is excellent too, and breakfast is wonderful! The staff is helpful in renting bikes, which are the best way to see the valley if you’re able.

The location of this property is perfect and the history that comes with it makes it a great place to stay in Durnstein

Unique hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel was centrally located in Durnstein which is a wonderful village. The price of this hotel was steep for room we received. Non the less, we were aware of the price and enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular hotel, in a spectacular location. We spent 2 night there on our 14 day vacation and it was everyone’s favorite spot

The hotel is a musty old building surrounded by musty antiques. If you enjoy nostalgia this is your place. If you enjoy crisp and clean accommodations with modern amenities look elsewhere. The staff was excellent.

O hotel fica no predio de um convento antigo. Quarto ótimo! De bom tamanho, confortável e bem silencioso. O café da manhã é muito bom e completo. O jardim da propriedade é muito lindo e com linda vista pro rio Danúbio.

Excellent location, charming place and would definitely recommend staying during the fall (however be aware of the date that hotel shuts down as the services are cut) upshot is that there are less tourist from bus, boat arriving during the end of the season

Utterly charming and incredible service! Gorgeous location with a delicious restaurant you must visit…so very pleased we were able to stay here!
