ブラックヒース駅から徒歩10分、帰りは様子がわかったので5分。幹線道路に面したモーテルです。全く可も無く不可もない部屋で、問題は屋根の雨音が大変うるさかったことぐらいです。ただ受け付けの奥様が大変親切な上よく働く方で好感を持ちました。朝食が付いていましたがジュース、パン、シリアルだけの簡単なもので、前日の夕方に部屋に持って来て置いてありました。部屋にはポットとコーヒー、紅茶、ミルクがありますから近くのお店からサラダやチーズ、果物、スモークサーモンなど買ってきて朝食に花を添えました。ブラックヒースは前回日帰りで二回来て気に入ったので今回はここに2泊し、雨で予定通りにはいきませんでしたがまた違った場所を歩いて楽しかったです。

Very dirty! Unending traffic noise. Although crockery, cutlery & a microwave are supplied there is no easy way to wash anything used: no sponge or detergent were supplied. There’s no sink other than in the bathroom & there’s no plug for it

Convenient location but hotel is very old. And my family all experienced itchy skin after sleeping on the bed. Maybe cleanliness could be improved

Essentially this motel is maintained to the bare basics and has not seen any level of update in many many years. Our room hairdyer has no tag and test label, some of the PowerPoints were cabled without conduit, other outlets were cracked and in poor condition. Two of the power outlets were unable to function due to placement of a built in benchtop. Our first night we returned to cockroaches crawling across bedroom floor, we had been left with an insect spray in the aged bathroom and addressed this ourselves. There is inadequate ventilation in the bathroom, without an exhaust fan the only option is to open an external window in 2oC temperatures and below in the mountains. The rooms are not made up daily, which was ok for us but may not suit others. The external building had gutters filled to overflowing, and gardens untended showing property maintenance is at the bare minimum. The property is inexpensive which was a bonus, but a lot more could be done to improve the guest experience.

It was definitely a clean room, was disappointed with general condition of the outside of the hotel being rather run-down and sad, it definitely was in need of some TLC. Also not a good look to stack laundry bags near the outside wall of our room (at least a dozen). Shower wasn't great due to water pressure, either scorching hot or freezing cold. As I said was very clean and tidy inside and comfortable.

Bathroom requires some fixing. Shower curtain too long, appears not clean. Power point too close to table...unable to use for certain large power plugs.

An inexpensive stop over but don’t stay more than one night. Room was noisy with traffic noise and the interior needs updating. Check in was easy and friendly and the location with walking distance to town was close. Bed was super hard and new pillows are a must but the bath towels were excellent.

Neat , quiet room but had a very damp & musky smell. Mould found on some walls.

Very disappointing stay. The whole place was rundown. We had three rooms for two nights. They all stank – two of terrible damp and one of urine. One room didn’t have any towels. The shower cubicle door didn’t close. No attempt was made to apologise for the shortcomings but I was given some air freshener! I tried to get towels for our room but the office was shut until 9 am and the Emergency phone messaging service was full so I couldn’t leave a message! If there had been an emergency, I don’t know how this venue would have coped

Unfortunately the WiFi didn't work well for my Zoom meeting. also, because I am unable to carry anything of any weight, i found the unloading of my luggage difficult because the car park was higher than the entrance to the unit. I couldn't wheel my case because of the pebbles on the car park surface. But this would not be a problem for others, just me with my back problem. The room was fine otherwise.

When I walked into reception to collect the key on arrival, it smelt like B.O. The outside of the property is very unkept, with overgrown weeds as well as leaves and other debris. The big garbage bins are in the driveway and there is rubbish in places as well as part of the fence broken where you can see into the neighbouring propert. We walked into our room and could immediately see that the beds were old and sunken. There were lights not working. The curtains looked like they’ve never been washed and were hanging off the rod in places. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and dust throughout. The photos look great and I’m sure it was a beautiful motel in its day, however its day was long long ago and it is in desperate need of a complete overhaul and some TLC. We won’t be staying again

Clean room, courteous staff, ticked all the boxes - definitely coming back.

Good location. The room was basic but comfortable and had everything we needed at a reasonable price.
