Room was old and tired. Needs upgrade. Grass out the back needed a good mow, far too long. No cutlery provided. 2.50 Starr Rating at the most. Too expensive for what it is!

Previously I have always booked moon river without problems, but the last experience was uncalled for, being treated rudely by staff in the restaurant and delivery food to our table that had watered down smoked BBQ sauce and trying to pass it off as sweet and sour, plus the meat was undercooked. I felt discriminated against and treated poorly, I travel all the time and I will no longer use your motel.

Lovely being on the river with the birdlife. Clean room & good location - good spot for a short stay. Pity the restaurant wasn't open as what a great spot for it on the river too.

Expensive. Smelly. Run down. Bugs. Not worth the price - our suite hotel in Brisbane was cheaper!

Clean room, room overlooking river plus restaurant on premises.

Unbearable noise from ac/water units directly outside the window. But no ac in the actual room. Had to keep it closed without cooling so it was sweltering. Just an unfortunate room, really.

Accommodation was average. Lovely view of river. Bed sheet was stained/soiled.

We were happy with our rooms. They were comfortable and clean for our overnight stay. The chinese restaurant on site had excellent food too.

Good motel, would stay again.

There was no hand wash in container & didn’t get refilled even though we asked. The rooms could do with updating, also restaurant closed, which we went to last time & it was really good!

This hotel has a magnificent location, with direct access to the riverside, which offers astonishing views of the Maclay river and the opposite bank. It is close to shops, and the main town centre. It is an older style property, but has a great, family vibe.

Dated. Expensive for the quality. Not very hospitable.

Clean and modern, so for this price point the standard was exceptional. It felt safe and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant is quality also!

Great stay option

A quiet location (even though it is next to a main road and near a Service Station), but it is a bit too far to walk to the shopping centre. It has a pleasant view of the river with several picnic tables (with easy access from a back door of the most units). The Chinese Restaurant had a good selection of food and an average selection of drinks (licensed).
