The stand in manager booked us in well and was very helpful and friendly. The room was very large and had everything we needed. When we went to cook our food on the first evening we found that the pan and colander were still dirty. There was an old bottle behind the fridge which had not been picked up and there was dust behind the units so this was a bit of a down side. We told the manager and she said she would keep an eye on it. Overall we had a good stay in Hervey Bay with everything on our doorstep. Shops and bars etc. The pool area was lovely. Pool was lovely and warm. The motel could definitely do with a bit of tender loving care and could be really nice.

Kitchen was well equiped, easy access to local resturaunts, staff were amazing and super helpful.

Location was perfect, staff were very helpful, room was clean. The only thing that made it a 4star was the noise, as you could hear everything going on.

An honest motel that does not pretend to be something it isn't. Exceptional location with good off-street parking. We wanted something clean and comfortable and did not mind if it was old and basic and we found exactly what we wanted. Pick up and drop off for our island tour was from the front door. Excellent coffee and restaurants surround the location. We left very happy campers.

The people currently looking after the place is so wonderful. So polite, helpful easy going. Made our stay so much more pleasant. Thank you

The room was very clean and well appointed. It had a microwave and plenty of crockery and cutlery.

I booked a room with a queen bed, but wanted a king. The hotel does NOT have king beds. We got a room with a queen and a twin. Even better, I took the queen and my husband took the single. Then we read a note that said if there are 2 people in the room and you use BOTH beds, you are charged an extra $20 AUS. This seems ridiculous, we booked the room NOT the number of beds. Location was fine, it is a motel. It does have laundry which was the most we've paid to date ($10 AUS total for washer/dryer). If I were to return, I would look elsewhere. The extra charge for using the twin bed really is not appreciated nor is it mentioned on Hotels.com when booking.
