Good place for a nature lover. Good management. Only discomfort was a minor water leakage in the bathroom. Business channel was not provided in the cable TV. Insect repellant is a must to carry with the guest.

The only complaint I have is the room smelled a bit off, kinda like roasted peanuts? Other than that cute place and not too far from Sault Ste. Marie. They had some cool amenities that we sadly didn’t get to check out because we only stayed there for a night on our roadtrip to Nova Scotia.

We love this place and stay there every year. The cabins are so cozy and homey😊 Only two points of critique: 1. Upgrade the cleaning products that are in the unit. Dollar store brands don’t do the trick. 2. Use scent free pet-friendly cleaners in the pet friendly units. The smell was overpowering for me so I can only imagine how it was for my little pooch.

While we did like the location, the cabin we stayed in needed a good cleaning. we never realized until we went to bed that the sheets hadn’t been changed. The office was closed so we just used our sleeping bags as we have them along with us. I wanted to talk with the front desk person when we left but the office was closed again, so never got a chance to. We have stayed in many motels on our cross Canada trip. The price for the night was about $50 more than we’ve paid for much nicer accommodations. In addition we were woken up by a large diesel truck that idled right for about 20 minutes outside our room. This was at 5:45 am.

Very friendly and informative staff. Cabin was what we needed, well stocked, and as described. The fridge was not plugged in so we needed to wait for it to cool down to place food in it. Beds comfy and new mattresses. The baseboards were filthy, with hair accumulated on them. There were long dark hairs stuck to the shower curtain and on the floor behind the toilet. The long-dead mosquito squished onto the wall in front of it was extra fun. It’s the north, there will be bugs. But this one had clearly taken up residency. We didn’t even mind the dated decor and the shower that is barely 5 feet off the ground, but the hair that wasn’t ours is a deal-breaker.

We were only there 1 night so didnt really have time to avail ourselves of all the facilities. Our cottage was clean and comfortable and quiet. There were plenty of towels. The laundry facilities were most welcome after a week of camping.

The room had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke, which I put up with as I was by myself, but if my wife was with me we would have had to move. Other than that the cottages are nice and we'll equipped.

Cute cabin! The property had a TON of amenities like pool, sauna, trails, playground, etc. would stay again.

This is our go to place in Sault Ste Marie. Love the cottages and the area.

The cabin we stayed in was very nice! No issues with check-in and check-out, and it was easy to find the place.

The resort is older, there is obvious evidence of efforts to improve the cabins such as new flooring since our last visit. The only part that we were very disappointed in was the hot tub...it had brown foamy stuff floating in it.

Most comfortable bed! Can park my car next to front door of cottage. Friendly staff family business. Clean room, plenty of space. Has fast food restaurants near by.

The little 1 bedroom house/cabin was perfect in every way. Very Clean, lots of provisions, on demand hot water. Full size appliances. Gorgeous views. They cleaned up snow every day while I was out. I will definitely plan to stay again. It was so peaceful in the snow

Amazing spot for the price. Very close to downtown for anything you might need while still feeling rural. Very clean and had plenty of kitchen supplies.

Stayed 8 nights at Glenview Cottages in early November. There were a lot more guest this time around vs the last time I was there. Only a 10 minute drive to get into SSM for me. Liked the kitchen and the ability to go for a walk around the property. Bed was comfortable and the road noise was minimal at night.Would stay again.
