helpful staff

We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms -- appears to be newly renovated and had a full kitchen for us to use. Would only suggest to bring your own pillow if you have the ability to. There were a bunch of staying at the hotel (about 8+ rooms) and we all complained that the pillows were too "full" and it was best to sleep without one. Small detail as everything else was excellent.

It was a great location, tough to find parking was a nice stay.

A hidden gem on the lake. Walking distance of 10 to hockey rink, Starbucks , city centre. Clean. Safe. Affordable. I really like the modern simple touches to the room.

The suite was newly painted and decorated. Amenities in the kitchen were less than expected: no kettle, frying pan and only a very small sauce pan. Very little counter space so meal prep was challenging.

Room was fine ... clean, location is good. A few items for consideration. Although I'm familar with French press coffee, my co worker was not and did not know how-to use. I suggest having instructions available in the room on how to use. The bathtub drain would not drain and had to call to replace the drain mechanism. There was no lotion in the bathroom dispenser. Instructions for TV use is appreciated as there are 2 remotes to use for local and non local channels

Excellent location. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great room.

I think the only thing that I don’t like is that it’s a French press instead of just a regular coffee maker, but besides that the staff is super friendly it’s very convenient. They even provide beach towels for you too.

Das Zimmer war schön, das Personal sehr nett! Der Kühlschrank war nur sehr laut und die Air-Condition dient auch als Heizung, daher war es nachts.entweder etwas kalt im Zimmer oder laut. Wir können das Hotel aber auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

double room was very cool and location was great for us

Since we were there after thanksgiving in October, it was really quiet as we were the only one in the motel the first night and just few others on the second night. So we did not have any neighbours. Being a motel, I can imagine it could be more noisy if we had neighbours. Property seems to have ongoing small renovation. Our room was clean. However, our room with kitchenette is actually not a full kitchenette. Only small fridge, coffee machine and microwave which should not be called a room with kitchenette. Bathroom had no fan but a window so you had to open the window to let humidity out. But at the end, the room was good. At first, the communication with the property were not great as they did not reply to our requests through phone and email. Then, they called us after sending the code for the door to make sure we receive it. Then, on our second night, they make sure we had everything. So in general, our stay was good.

Easy check in and check out, we enjoyed the propane fires overlooking the lake, and the room itself was clean, tidy and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Room was clean, Kitchenette had enough dishes and tools. Grills were available. Easy access to the beach area, and there were nearby restaurants and coffee places.

Very clean. They seem to be upgrading and towels, linens, etc. were quite nice. Good location. Nice outside sitting area.
