The room was small and dated but adequate for one night. Mattress and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Advertised an English breakfast. However, the breakfast was a muffin and a small cup of coffee.

The rating was high for this property which is misleading. It's very old, dated and things in the room smelled like cigarettes. The room is small. The bed was sagging. The good part is the friendly and welcoming staff. They badly need to upgrade this place.

This was an amazing stay. The woman on front desk was really friendly and helpful. While the room was a bit crowded it was comfortable and functional. Fresh warm muffins in the morning was a delicious treat with our tea and coffee . We look forward to staying there again .

No person to greet us upon arrival. No information about contact options. No response to our ringing the bell. After about fifteen minutes an employee arrived. Prior to our arrival, the owner had charged the payment for the stay on our credit card ... however, more was charged than agreed via hotels.com. The breakfast consisted only of muffins and coffee ... it is the poorest breakfast on our four and a half week long trip through Canada so far.

The room was quite clean and had a cute, vintage feel to it. We appreciated being able to park right outside our room. The breakfast was minimal - just a muffin and coffee. Since I need to eat gluten-free (and don't drink coffee), I was out of luck. My husband did say the muffin was quite tasty.

Excellently run family motel. Sam and her staff do a wonderful job! Even free home made muffins and coffee in the office in the morning. Easy on/off Hwy. And an easy walk to Wawa Lake. We would definitely stay again.

We had a room at the front this time and it was a little noisy as the walls are thin. Could hear the neighbours TV. We had a room at the back last time and it was quieter

for the price i expected more. the room was functional but really worn out. Mattress sagging it was so old. Hasn't been updated or maintained properly in a while. The internet wasn't working either.

Very nice staff and helpful. Check in/out very easy. Muffins were delicious. Bed was comfortable. The heater worked well. Even though we had a little dog and was in a pet friendly room it could do with some upgrades ie. comforter had a tear in it and curtains could be hemmed appropriately. Hole in the wall repaired. I also have issues in a smoking area and there was a gentleman smoking right outside our room marijuana which stinks. We would go back and stay there hopefully not close to a smoker. Parking great and it’s convenient to restaurants and grocery store.

Although the furniture and decor was a bit dated, everything was clean. The bathroom looked newly renovated. The coffee and muffins at the main office was a bonus. Overall, a good value.

Well located opposite park which is handy when travelling with a dog. Motel itself looks dated, but the service is exceptional. Breakfast is fresh homemade muffins which were delicious Only quibble is $30 for a pet is definitely on the high side when compared to other similar properties.

It was an okay stay overall. The room was clean, and the owner/receptionist was very charming and helpful. However, the bathroom fan did not work, there was no shampoo in the room until we asked for it, and the bed made some noise because it was not well attached. The breakfast was very basic: only one coffee and one muffin, not a self-service breakfast. Overall, it was acceptable, but there are a few things that could be improved.
