空港からバスを乗り継ぎ１時間弱。オーナーが教えてくれたバス停で降りました。そこからはけっこうな坂道。数分と書いてましたが、キャリーケースにリュックを背負ってた私には地獄の坂道でした、、 オーナーは良い人ですが、予約した後のメールでお風呂は共用と聞かされました。2部屋しかないので、あまり問題ないかもしれませんが、プライベートバスだと思ってたので残念でした。 さらに朝食も期待してましたが、スーパーで買ったパンを焼くか、ヨーグルト、シリアルなど簡素な朝食。これなら値段をもっと下げるべきだと思います。 部屋は清潔で眺めも良く快適だっただけに、色々残念でした。ダウンタウンからも離れてるので不便です。

This was the most disappointing stay during our first visit to the east coast. Thankfully it was right at the start of our trip and every other stay was excellent. Shower stall in the entry was awful. Musty smell throught "suite" was overpowering. Blinds not able to stay pulled down when we opened all the windows to air the place out meant anyone could look in from the main street. Bedroom window faces the front entryway to the rest of the house so there could be no privacy with non working blinds. The toilet is so close to the wall that anyone that is a tad larger would have a hard time using it comfortably. Breakfast supplied was minimal and quite honestly, not even remotely acceptable. This was the only time we have ever left any place we have stayed early.

Smelly rooms and bedsheets.. torn towels... Very small shower space ... Not recommended!! Also, incompatibility between the room we booked (shown on the website) and the one we stayed in ...

Very friendly host, easy to find, very nice rooms.

Des bestioles type cafard courent le long des plinthes. Lit tout creusé. Petit déjeuner minimaliste. Store d'occultation cassé (impossible à tenir baissé). Salle de bain exigu.

Mel and his son were very welcoming. The apartment was very cozy and sweet. Will definitely stay here again!!

The harbour view location was excellent, The mother doe and fawn feeding in the back yard were a pleaseant surprise.

The owner was extremely nice. The bed was ok but could have been firmer and the bathroom could have been closer.

We enjoyed that it was close to the water. We saw some deer on the property. Quite fun.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem Einfamilienhaus im unteren Geschoss und hat einen separaten Eingang. Der Vermieter wohnt darüber. Er empfing uns herzlich und zeigte alles. Die Wohnung verfügt über einen hellen Wohnbereich mit Essplatz und einer Art Küchenbereich, ein Schlafzimmer und ein WC. Die Dusche ist separat im Eingangsbereich untergebracht. Im Kühlschrank waren Lebensmittel für ein kleines Frühstück deponiert. Auf den ersten Blick fanden wir es sehr schön. Enttäuschend war dann allerdings folgendes: auf dem Boden krabbelten einige Käfer/ Kakerlaken, im bereitgestellten Marmeladenglas befand sich Schimmel und auch eine der beiden Orangen war angegammelt, die Dusche ist sehr eng, Wasser gibt es nur am Handwaschbecken im WC. Auf unserer Reise hatten wir deutlich bessere Unterkünfte.

This property covered just about everything for a welcoming stay, including fresh salad from the garden if you choose. Close to Halifax harbour front and a restaurant with in walking distance. We would definitely recommend this B&B.

This place has a beautiful view Checked in very friendly and helpful Walked down a bit of a hill to catch bus to waterfront but only needed 1 bus #90 Took about 20 minutes but fun to see some of city Owner supplied toast coffee and banana and yogurt which was good for breakfast Wifi excellent TV small but good sports stations Great value for price

It was easy to find, Owner was Friendly, View of the bay was great, only problem was no Radio and though not required there was not a TV in this unit, but internet was good.
