Room was adequate, clean, no frills. But the common area in a remodeled barn is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, a drink, or play a card game, read or spend time relaxing and chatting. Large windows frame an unbeatable view of the mountain valley with a picturesque river running through. A great get away!

Schitterende omgeving in dal. Mooie, grote kamers. Prima ontbijt.

Großes Zimmer (bzw. als "4-Bett-Zimmer" 2 2-Bett-Zimmer mit Verbindungstür) war für uns 3 optimal. Frühstück umfangreich, Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr sauber, sogar tgl. Zimmer-Service! Hot pot einladend und warm.

Kleines Hotel mit schöner Lage wenn man die Einsamkeit mag. Es scheint aber noch nicht vollständig fertig gestellt zu sein. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr klein und es fehlen Ablagemöglichkeiten. Duschgel und Fön waren nicht vorhanden. Zimmerservice klappt nicht immer. Es ist sehr hellhörig. Fazit:Der Preis ist für die Unterkunft zu hoch.

This hotel is based in restored farm buildings operated by the owners living in the farm close by. Restoration was not completed but yet the room was in a very good condition. Breakfast and general service was good.The owners are very friendly. Note: The place is very remote and quiet. It's ~20 min. to get to Akureyri. Compared to other hotels I consider the price adequate.
