セントロから離れたところにあるので、人は少なかったですが、工事中だったので、少し騒がしかったです。

We stayed three nights in the double room with shared terrace. The hotel is decorated with tons of colorful tiles from Puebla that makes us feel love of the owners for this place. Rooms and terrace are ocean view with hammocks and are very clean, and we enjoyed watching sunsets from the swimming pool. We can access to the beach right in front of the pool where is not a sandy white beach but we can enjoy snorkeling and is safe for small children. The island itself has been changing more and more like touristic place demanding tourist price but this place is filled with island's hospitality and definitely we will come back to stay in Joya.

We ve enjoyed our stay, nice traditional Mexican style hotel with a breathtaking view and a very nice pool area on a cliff by the ocean. Only drawback was the poor wifi connection in the room

Beautiful property, amazing room with a very colorful Mexican rustic vibe. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a beach. It’s just rocks and not very accessible.

Our stay at Hotel La Joya was fabulous. The staff were generous and helpful, our breakfast was fresh and delicious, our room was peaceful and beautiful. Everything was great - my only regret is not booking this stay for longer!

It was a quaint, clean and comfortable hotel. The balcony overlooked the water so there was an excellent view. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as we were walking distance from the rugged Punta Sur and two beach clubs where you could snorkel near the reef in the beautiful water, as well as a couple of restaurants and the cutest coffee shop.

The view from this hotel is absolutely amazing (we lived in the penthouse). The guys running the hotel were some of the nicest hosts ever. Would come again.

Ris: Fanns ingen ”riktig” restaurang. Hotellet tog 3ggr mer betalt för en vattenflaska så köp i en affär brevid! Sängen var faktiskt hemsk och det var myror i badrummet och de luktade avlopp. Ros: Det är mysigt med grönska och man har väldigt fin utsikt! Man kan dock inte bada med barn där för de sten. Rekommendera att man går till Loretta’s längre ner på gatan om man vill ha en sandstrand!

This is such a cute boutique-style hotel. It has a very charming, old-fashioned feel—almost like a cozy “grandma-style” aesthetic with pottery, flowers, and lots of character. If you appreciate that kind of style, you’ll really love it. Just don’t expect a modern, super sleek, open-concept hotel—it’s more unique, with small staircases and a layout that adds to the charm. The pool was absolutely stunning, and being right off the beach made it even better. It’s a perfect spot for relaxing and taking beautiful pictures. There’s also a hammock on the back porch with an incredible view, which was honestly one of the highlights. The room had a refrigerator, which was very convenient, and the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and sweet—they really added to the experience. The only real downside was the TV, which was basically unusable. Overall, it was a really lovely stay. For a boutique-style hotel experience, I’d definitely rate it a 10/10.

Kitchen was great!

This is on the low-key southern end of the island. If you want tranquility and views, this is perfect.
