Excellent location, very clean, friendly staff.

Over all was a good stay, spotless clean room, very fresh towels & linen, recently restored walls & full bathroom, wood classy furniture. All the staff was helpfull. The only big downgrade: the bed linen too small for the mattress size, we arrived to sleep on the mattress protection cover in the morning! And the linen covering the blanket was small, impossible to keep covered the blanket!

Det var mycket rent och snyggt. Personalen var trevlig och läget utmärkt.

La pasé muy bien, el alojamiento estaba bien ubicado, me ofrecieron cochera a buen precio, pues en esa área el estacionamiento es restringido, la atención fue muy cordial, nos brindaron plano de la ciudad y nos explicaron sitios de interés. Muy conforme.

Sitio para dormir limpio sin muchas comodidades.Si no reservas plaza de parking imposible aparcar en la calle el parking privado nos costó 15 euros la noche.Tuvimos problemas para que nos abrieran porque la dueña se había ausentado de la recepción a las 8 de la tarde.

Me pareció un hotel que calidad precio cumple bastante bien. Destaco la limpieza, que funciona bien el wifi. Muy céntrico situado. El recepcionista muy amable. Lo recomiendo y repetiria

Wir haben die Pension für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise genutzt. Für eine Nacht ist der Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit eine sehr nahe gelegene Parkgarage zu nutzen. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Liegt nicht ganz zentral und wäre für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen.

Great clean centrally located value stay.

Ótima localização e cortesia dos funcionários! Quarto arejado e amplo, bem limpo. Possui elevador. Há opção de vaga de garagem, muito conveniente. Para ser excelente falta uma pequena área de cozinha de uso comum.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Had a wee bit of bother accessing main entrance. Pressed buzzer but no reply. After several attempts we realised that it wasn't an intercomm system. Pressing buzzer and pushing door simultaneously lets you in. No problems after we got in. Would definitely stay here again

La habitación tiene lo necesario para una escapada de un par de días, no es una habitación para estar todo el día pero suficiente para ir a conocer la ciudad. Es muy céntrico, a menos de 5 minutos a pie del ayuntamiento y tiene parking de pago a 2 minutos del hotel.

If you're looking to stay in Santander for a couple of nights, this little hotel is a great place to use as a base. The hotel is small and efficient, the staff were very accommodating and we were able to store our bags when we arrived before our check-in time, and after we had checked out (to spend a little more time in the city before we moved on). The room itself was an adequate size, with plenty of space for our cases and to hang some of our clothes; the shower had good pressure and was a consistent temperature; check-in was very easy (even though our Spanish is minimal!). The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and cafes, and a good supermarket. If I were to stay in Santander again, I would certainly consider staying at the Hospedaje Magellanas again. -

Excellent basic hotel, centrally situated for exploring Santander and Cantabria. It is less than 15 minutes walk from the rail and bus stations (via the road tunnel) and only 5 minutes walk from a Carrefour supermarket and local restaurants. The free Wi-Fi worked well in the room. We would happily stay there again.
