Fab location right on the beach

Flott, men gammelt hotell. Fantastisk beliggenhet og nydelig utsikt. Ligger ved Gold Beach. Hotellet har ikke aircondition. Det er litt krise når det er varmt. Enkel frokost.

Litet hotell med allt man behöver. Inget speciellt men fint. Väldigt fint läge över staden och stranden. Fantastisk utsikt från vårat rum. Bra personal. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam när vi behövde checka in efter hotellet var obemannat. Mycket bra hotell.

Malgré une chambre double un peu petite notre séjour dans votre hôtel c’est très bien passé se qui a été important pour nous c’est la propreté de la chambre et la sympathie de tout le personnel Merci pour tout

The hotel is a little tired and needs some upgrades. However, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing - stale croissants and limited alternatives. Location of the property is excellent although parking in the town is very expensive. The hotel has a couple of parking spaces which cannot be reserved so it’s pot luck if you get one.

The staff was very friendly and helpful

Hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. There was coffee and tea, sugar, bottled water and cups and saucers supplied, but NO milk allowed in the rooms, so we were unable to make tea, which was very peculiar. Why bother to supply the tea and coffee, as advertised?

Rooms of poor standard. Car parking was advertised, but only four spaces, none of which was ever unoccupied, so had to pay for three days of expensive parking in public car park. One waiter was distinctly hostile, saying no booking was taken in restaurant, but when we returned with the restaurant half-full he said he could not give us a table because there were not enough staff on duty. Refused to serve a post-dinner drink at 8.50pm.

Personnel attentionné!

Very much in need of a renovation, so don’t expect quality, but the room worked for a simple one night stay and was in the perfect spot to enjoy the city centre and beach.

The location across the street from the beach was great. The rooms were small hot. The bathroom shower needed much better cleaning to remove some mold, the beautiful curved staircase was difficult for those with limited mobility, and there is no elevator. The food was not great but the beer selection was good and some of the wait staff were friendly

Ne pouvant pas nous rendre, ma femme et moi le weekend du 29 mai au 1 juin pour des raisons familiales, réservation sur hôtels.com, j'ai contacté par téléphone puis envoyé un mail le 19 avril soit plus d'1 mois avant notre séjour l'hôtel " le Normandie"pour annuler cette réservation. Ils m'ont renvoyé sur un autre site ??? Dont je n'ai eu aucune nouvelle ??? Il m'a été quand même débité la totalité de la réservation soit plus de 380€. C'est scandaleux, aucune complaisance de toutes parts. Maintenant que vous êtes informés, j'attends quand même un geste de votre part, de l'Hôtels.com comme de l'hôtel " le Normandie"

Dated hotel in need of maintenance. Very poor condition.

Impossibilité de rentrer dans l'hôtel car le digicode ne fonctionnait pas . On pensait rentré après avoir appeler le gardien de nuit mais cette personne était dans un état second et incompétent . Nous avons même ouvert la porte avec un outil de notre voiture.

Hôtel simple mais correct dans l ensemble

Hôtel assez banale, nous avons dormis dans une petite chambre cosy bien pour une nuit. Cependant la déco et l’ensemble est un peu usagé (peinture écaillée, etc). La salle de bain mériterait un coup de neuf (les joints sont noircis etc.) Insonorisation des chambres nulle (on entend les voisins comme s’ils étaient dans notre chambre.) Localisation bien placée par contre parking très très petit nous n’avions plus de place en arrivant à 18h. Pour finir petit déjeuner est assez simple pour un prix de 12€ nous nous attentions à beaucoup (petit dej jusqu’à 10h) nous sommes arrivés à 9h15 et il n’y avait quasiment plus rien.

Locatie uniek, hygiene badkamer iets minder. Hotel dringend aan renovatie toe.
