Fantastisk hyggeligt hotel

Romantic and cosy hotel in a beautiful village. Fantastic staff that really helped out with everything. Really good resturant.

One of the best places we stayed in France. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We got in late (around 9:00 p.m.) and asked if we could eat at the restaurant. Although it was at the end of the evening, they allowed us to have dinner there and it was a spectacular meal. The room was clean and comfortable. So much so that we decided to extend to another day and have the hotel as home base. The next evening was even more pleasant. Highly Highly recommend this place.

Awesome place to stay. The staff spoke good english and were very helpful. Manuel and Sebastion were very knowledgable about the area as well as its history. They were great to have around to help my family and i with planning our route to hit all the spots relevant to the allied invasion of 1944.

This property is historical in itself, and the staff is attentive and everything is very clean. The restaurant is amazing.

Wij vonden het een heel leuk en charmant hotel met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Kamers waren schoon en netjes. Sanitair had, denken wij, net een renovatie gehad, dus ook heel netjes. Prijs - kwaliteit verhouding was prima. Wij zouden hier zeker terug komen.

Comfortable stay in historic hotel and town in Normandy. Convenient to historic sites, particularly the advance of British and Canadian troops after invasion of Europe. Other services are steps away. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful and attentive to traveler’s needs.

This place is absolutely spectacular and the restaurant is one of the BEST meals we've had in France. Unbelievable staff that made this an unforgettable stay :) look no further!!

Sejour en famille, tenu par des personnes adorables et serviables tres bon accueil, chambre spacieuse et tres propre avec 2 lits 2 personnes et 1 lit d une personne salle de bain avec douche et un toilette. nous avons manger au restaurant de l hotel un excellent repas dans un cadre superbe, nous avons prevue dit retourner .

Service war ausgezeichnet und sehr persönlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und sehr ruhig. Es gibt nicht viele Stauräume. Es ist es altes Gebäude, ohne Lift. Die Lage ist ideal um die verschiedene Sehenswürsigkeiten von Pays d‘Auge zu erkunden (Bayeux, Caen, D-Day,…) Das Frühstück Buffet ist schlicht bietet alles an, für ein reichliches Frühstück. Alles regional. Restaurant ist hervorragend.

We stayed two nights on a family trip around Northern Europe and this was one of our favourite hotels on our three-week trip. This place is quite charming and historic and the location on the town square couldn’t be better. Nice spot for a quiet rest in a comfortable room. We did not try the restaurant. The staff were excellent.

We were exploring WWII history in the Normandy area. This hotel was a very fun stay. So much character and walkable town with history. We loved it!!!!

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was very comfortable but stairs were quite steep. Restaurant was brilliant, 3 fixed price menus and full a la carte. Great choice of wines from 25 ish euros to over 2000 if you want to push the boat out. Would definitely go again when in the area
