駅からは近く歩ける距離でよかった。飲食店も周りにたくさんある。シェイクスピアの家や劇場なども、歩いていける。 チェックイン後、テレビがうつらなかった。Antenna is weak. Please check it.と表示出てきた。ポットの水が、入れっぱなしでポットにカビ生えていた。 ボディウオッシュ、シャンプー、リンスが置いていなくて、ボディミルクのみ置いてあった。シャワードアが壊れていて閉まらなかった。 Convenient from the station and very close to many kinds of restaurants. I can walk to the theater and Shakespeare’s birthplace. Bad point is that TV was out of order and the kettle was full of water and it was covered with green mold.

ご夫婦で営業されているご様子でした。 シングルルームを選んでいたと思うのですが、ダブルルームへ通されました。お部屋が空いていたのでしょうか。嬉しいサプライズでした。とはいえ、部屋は広々、というわけではなく、ベッド脇を通るのは少し辛い。最大人数は二人と紹介されていますが、二人だと窓際に行く際、片方が椅子に座っていると通れないかな？　二人で部屋でゆっくり寛ぐには向きませんが、B&Bですので問題はないと思います。 部屋は暖かく、寒く感じることはありませんでした。バスルームも明るく、トイレもイギリスだということを考えると日本のトイレのように座り心地は良かったです。 また、部屋はとても静かでした。 朝食は４種類くらいから選ぶことができ、前日の深夜までに食堂前の紙に記入が必要です。私が行った時はフルブレックファスト、フルブレックファスト（ベジタリアン向き）、ヨーグルト&クロワッサン、グラノーラと選ぶことができました。今までイングリッシュブレックファストは様々な場所で食べてきましたが、此処が一番軽くあっさりとしていました。尚、写真はベジタリアン向きのフルブレックファストと、ヨーグルト＆クロワッサンです。クロワッサンはサクサクでした。 ホテルの場所は、観光名所からは徒歩5分～10分離れている程度。 御飯も、何にしようかなと考えている間にあっという間にレストラン・パブ街に到着します。 1日ぐるりと歩いて帰るだけで全ての名所を網羅しこのB&Bへあっさりと戻れます。 うーんとなった所を述べるとするなら、未だかつてない程シャワーの水圧が弱かったことです。寒いと感じる程ではありませんでしたが、お湯は早く出るのに手を洗う最低限くらいの水量しか出ず、熱いシャワーをサーッと浴びたかった私は残念な気持ちになりました。 また、朝食のルールが解らず、とりあえずスタッフさんを呼びに行ってしまったのですが、見た感じとりあえず食堂でジュースなどの飲み物飲みながら待っていれば良いようです。朝食を出す為にスタッフさんは頻繁にキッチンと食堂を行き来するのであまり長く待つことはなさそうです。唯、朝食の時間は8時～9時固定なので、この辺ちょっと不便に思う人はいるかも知れませんね。 と、いうことも加味した上で、私はこのB&Bにまた是非泊まりたいと思います。それくらい居心地は良かったです。

Menu fresh and there was variety. Room and bathroom clean. Room comfortable and quiet. Parking felt safe . Staff pleasant. Tim owner very helpful and informative and knowledgeable.

Ideally located within easy walking distance to town centre. The property had shared parking with other houses on the terrace. The room was big enough with en suite bathroom and nice decor. Very clean and tidy. Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a haird dryer. The landlord was very pleasant and helpful. Full English breakfast was included.

Great location - short walk to train station, bus hub, shops, river, restaurants and tourist spots (theatres, Trinity Church, Shakespeare’s birthplace).

Lovely little b&b , comfortable beds , lovely breakfast and wonderful host . Great location , just a 5 minute walk into the centre, and the bonus of free parking behind the property. Would highly recommend a stay here .

Great host , ideal central location with parking. Good breakfast with ample choices. Comfortable bed and tea/coffee facilities in room. Only issue we had was that shower was a bit awkward to get temperature right. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely & cozy B&B. An easy walk to shops & restaurants.

Had a nice and relaxing stay. Great location and the Host 'Tim' was very welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. Enjoyed the breakfast and nice coffee! Set me up for my day and mini adventure around Stratford Upon Avon. Recommend the Virginia hotel. Hope to stay again.

Wonderfull

Close to town centre, parking was tight but kept the car safe and away from the main road. The room was very clean, bed pillows etc really comfortable. Shower and bathroom clean. Breakfast was ok and we enjoyed our stay - thank you Tim and Kate.

Booked Virginia lodge for myself, my daughter and my mum for a short break. My daughter has a severe allergy to nuts and Tim went above and beyond to ensure there were no nuts in the dining room. This was a huge relief and made our stay perfect. He also knew my mum was elderly and suffers from dementia so kindly offered us a room on a lower floor and has even put us an extra bed in the room so we could all be together. Honestly cannot fault our stay. We will be returning to stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you all at Virginia lodge xx

Uma casa modificada para atender de hotel. Muito bonita e bem cuidada. Junto com a chave do quarto vem a da porta. Fomos recebidos pelo proprietário, que muito simpaticamente nos atendeu, ajudou com a bagagem e nos mostrou as principais atrações da cidade. Ele mesmo prepara o café, dentre algumas opções disponíveis. Estava gostoso e caseiro, não espere um buffet. O quarto simples, mas arrumado e com uma boa cama, inclusive para minha filha. Como ficamos no segundo andar, as escadas pegaram, muito estreitas. Se soubessebteria subido somente com uma muda de roupa e deixado o resto no carro. O banheiro é uma adaptação do sótão, o que não se põe muito confortável. O banho, com chuveiro elétrico é bom mas o box muito apertado. Foi um bom custo benefício… voltaríamos.

Very welcoming. Helpful host, full of local knowledge. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Excellent location for very short walk to centre of Stratford, including the RSC.

Great location with parking. Very attentive host. Sustaining and hearty breakfast. Room was a good size and was very quiet. All the amenities you would expect from a well equipped B&B.

Near to town, lots of lovely communication with Tim the owner, good location, free parking, lovely breakfast, comfy bed, great shower, all in all a positive stay... Thank you 😁

A really good value for money hotel. Clean, tidy, comfy bed and very close to the town centre. The breakfast was really nice too
