Everything was great

Loved the homey feel of the place, was disappointed that the hot tub is closed.

Very nice sitting area and bedroom, 2 nice size TVs, area out back nice but hot tub not available. Basic breakfast but ok. Only bad thing to say is the pocket door in bathroom has a lock that jams and I spent 5 minutes trying to get it open

Room is small but its very cozy and has everything needed!! Very comfortable 😌

This was our third stay here, everything was great as our previous stays. Clean room, comfortable bed, enjoy the area in the rear yard behind the rooms. Will stay again next year!

Great overnight stay on our way to northern Michigan. We loved that we were able to park in front our room. Our room was so comfortable and clean. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. It is a small room, but there was plenty of room to put bags for overnight. Loved the coffee maker, bottled water, and even a couple bags of snacks. It was nice and quiet. The door to the beautiful patio was through the bathroom and easy to access. There was a continental breakfast, muffins, bagels, coffee, the usual for a quick grab and go. We would definitely stay again should we visit again.

Neat and tidy but would suggest paper towels and disinfectant for tables in breakfast room for personal use since room is not monitored. Definitely a basic stay which met our needs perfectly.

We loved our stay! We will definitely be coming back to this location. The renovation were very well done. Clean and comfortable. Very charming.

Ths was the smallest room i have ever stayed in! There were no luggage stands to place suitcases. We had to open them on the floor and use them from their. The room lacked hooks to hang towels, clothes, toiletries bags, etc. The motel is located right on the Blue Star Highway, so the road noise was evident. The place was not staffed, so there was no one there to ask questions, request an upgrade, get more tissues, etc. The "continental breakfast" was a joke. Cheerios or Raisin Bran, milk, toast, and high fructose "juice" drinks. No hard boiled eggs, no fruit, no danishes, no decaf coffee, (which really pissed me off). We paid $120 per night for 2 nights here and it was way over-priced! This is a $75 per night motel. Will not go back and do not recommend.

The back deck was beautiful however the landscape was very poor. We didn't have an opportunity to use the hot tub due to it closing so early. Our room was VERY clean. They are small but we didn't plan on spending time in the room. We were gone all day wining and dining. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time during our short stay. Nice back porch and yard. Sat by the fire ring both evenings. On second evening, four couples arrived and had a small concert in the gazebo. So much fun!!!!!

Blue Star Motel was amazing! We stayed in the apartment and it was fabulous to have a full kitchen, coffee maker and nice living area to hang in. Also, the hot tub and fire pit were awesome! We enjoyed all the amenities while being so close to downtown Sagatuck and Douglas, which means endless shopping, wine, art and restaurants! Stay here!

Can’t beat the price and it exceeded my expectations! Very clean and simple. Will stay again!

Rooms are small but have everything you need. Great family run motel in an excellent location for Saugatuck and Douglas.

Not sure why I paid an extra $10 for a patio. It was a chair outside and there was a lovely covered area that I think all residents could use for no extra charge. The room was tiny but not unexpected because of the mid century vibe. Nicely remodeled keeping that feel. Bed comfy, ac worked great, breakfast was adequate. A little pricey, but considering the overall inflated prices for the area, not too bad.

Tiny bit cute. Great outdoor space. Great little ice cream shop walking distance and an easy drive to beaches and downtown area

Love the walk through to the covered patio. Sat out here during the rain last night and it was as glorious! Beautifully designed/ decorated room. I will definitely return
