Booked at the Hemingway for 3 nights for anniversary trip. On arrival had to go next door to check in. took over 20 mins just to get a person to the door. The lady did not speak much English and was on speaker phone with we assume the owner. We got no instructions or info, just a key to the room door. Had to call back to get a door code for the outside lock. The booking site said breakfast was included for 2 (bed & breakfast) but the next morning the same lady said it would be $15 per person. We had no other info to refer to so we went elsewhere all 3 mornings. Our bath & room smelled strongly of sewage after rain 2nd day and the shower started holding water. We had to ask for additional towels and didn’t get any room cleaning or inquiries into our needs whatsoever, there was only the 1 lady on property briefly at breakfast. Not what we expected of a bed & breakfast at all. Location was great and easily walkable to food and activities. Room was pretty clean although it needed to be swept and it had no mini fridge microwave or safe & room door opened directly into the “dining area/kitchen” so there was considerable noise in the morning although we still didn’t get our breakfast or have access to any type of drink machines or snack options. Got one call from someone with the Inn, asked where I was parked and told me another guest couldn’t get in their space, we walked to check & there was plenty of room. Won’t book here again because of the poor customer
