Stayed this nightmare hotel with my family. We wake up because of construction (drill etc.) 8 in the morning right in front of our room. They open the door and stepped in our room while we are out for breakfast at hotel restaurant. They were at our room when we comes back and told us the sign was "Please clean the room" so they stepped in and was doing construction in our room. This is non-sense. We travelling around the our and never put "clean the room when we go out. especially, this hotel sign is red and green, so easy to recognize. I am an auditor for long time never mistake for this thing. Anyway, '1. Check out is 1030, Do I need to ask them to clean the room ? one hour before check out ? 2. Even if it was "Clean the room", Construction and cleaning is same of think at this hotel ? Further more, I claimed this situation at front desk but, they do not listen my word and they just protect what contractor told them. Front desk staff threw invoice to me and said "bye bye !" This is the way of think of this hotel. They can do anything and tell "sign was please clean the room", it is so scare. 気を付けて下さい。家族旅行で泊まりました。 チェックアウトの朝、"Do not disturb"にして、ホテルのレストランに朝食に行き、戻ったら工事業者３人が部屋に勝手に入り、色々な場所をチェックしていました。"掃除して"のサインだったので入った。といいますが。貴重品や色々な物がありました。チェックアウト時にフロントで文句を言うと、業者を保護するだけで、しまいには領収書を私に投げつけ"バイバーィ"と言いました。 もし女性通しで泊まる場合など気を付けてください。その他いつ部屋に入っても、"掃除して'だったで済ませる可能盛大です。 普通に考えても、チェックアウトの１時間半前に”掃除して"にしますか？また万が一そうでも掃除と工事は一緒ですか？ とてもレベルが低く。気を付けなければならないホテルです。 まだ片田舎のB&Bの方が全然安心です。

Perfect hotel to enjoy the stay in Fussen area. Especially hospitality was great and breakfast was pretty nice to have.

Wir waren zum ersten mal in diesem Hotel; ist zwar nicht günstig, aber was da alles angeboten wird, kostet halt!! Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Vom Frühstück über die Halbpension bis zu den anderen Annehmlichkeiten, auch im Spa, war alles sehr gut und schön!! Wir haben uns vorgenommen, wir kommen wieder und bleiben dafür länger! J. & A. Lovely hotel close to Neuschwanstein Castle and nearby lake. Service was excellent and half board was a great option to relax after a busy day site seeing. My teenage girls loved the pool too.

This hotel is gorgeous. The location is amazing. So much to do and see. The staff was friendly and helpful and professional.

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Hotel. Wir haben es ausgewählt, da es in fußläufiger Nähe zum Festspielhaus liegt. Das Hotel Sommer läßt keine Wünsche offen. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Die Wege innerhalb des Hotels sind zwar etwas weit, aber nach dem reichhaltigen Frühstück oder Abendessen von Vorteil. Das Frühstück ist absolut hervorragend, es fehlt einfach an nichts. Ebenso das Abendessen, was größtenteils in Buffetform ist. Nur die Hauptspeise, wobei man sich hier von 4 Angeboten entscheiden muss, wird serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Delicious food. Spacious and comfortable room - although we were disappointed not to be able to see the lake. Loved the sauna facilities.

Schönes Hotel mit innen und Außenpool und schönem Wellnessbereich. Hotel mit guter Küche (Halbpension). Vorspeise (Salat, Suppe) gibt es am Buffet, der Hauptgang wird serviert. Direkt nebenan werden E-bikes vermietet. Wir waren bereits, das 2. MAL hier und kommen gerne wieder

Schöne und großzügige Zimmer, dazu ein guter Wellnessbereich und ein umfangreiches Frühstücksbüffet.

Diese Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen Personal wie Hotelausstattung ist Hervorragend. Das Essen ist sehr gut und man hat eine große Auswahl. Warten egal wo ist hier Fehlanzeige Personal ist immer da und macht ihren Job sehr gut! Das ist auf jeden fall hervorzuheben! Die Lage Direkt am See ist sehr gut und ruhig.

Wonderful lake front location and very walkable to town.

Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben leider erst beim Auschecken erfahren, dass unsere Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer 15,- € pro Nacht kostet. Was unsere Hotelrechnung im nachhinein noch verteuert hat. Dies wäre in Ordnung, wenn man auch die Maschine regelmäßig nutzt. Allerdings hatten wir bereits am ersten Abend die Milch und einen Teil der Kaffeekapseln verbraucht. Da wir auf die Zimmerreinigung verzichtet haben wurde am nächsten Tag nichts mehr nachgefüllt und wir haben die Maschine nicht mehr genutzt. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker und hatte eine gute Qualität. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch der Wellness Bereich macht einen guten und sauberen Eindruck.

A great hotel! Large room and very clean. Great views of the Alps. Close proximity to Fussen and two castles. The staff were wonderful. Great breakfast buffet! I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, great staff.

My wife and I are Americans and speak only English but know a few minimal phrases. The employees at this hotel were very friendly and understanding of this and spoke the English they knew. If we needed more detailed communication, someone was available to help. They also respected the minimal German we knew and attempted. The sights in the area were beautiful and welcoming and we were able to take a few day trips to Switzerland, Austria, and a four hour trip to the East side of Germany, my wife’s Grandparents’ home town. Our only complaint is the front desk is closed between 23:00 and 07:00. We could have been late to our plane while trying to pay our bill but an employee got someone else on the phone and we were able to pay and get out with 30 minutes to spare at the gate. Friendly staff, Peaceful Area, and delicious food. Keep track of the schedules and don’t try to eat too much. The food is much more filling than what we’re used to in America.

Overall a very nice hotel. As mentioned elsewhere rooms though a good size are somewhat dated. The bathroom in my deluxe room was very 90’s…I wouldn’t normally expect a shower in a bath for an upgrade room, The Spa is the stand out feature of this hotel. Beautiful views of the mountains…particularly at dusk. Very relaxing. The hotel is very much a family hotel. I personally found the dinner options very limited…4 mains and one desert option. (Or that’s all I was presented with) Business travellers wanting to work note that the mobile reception (data) in the hotel is poor and doesn’t work in many places. The hotel WiFi though not bad drops out in many places. Overall if you after a quiet hotel this is for you.

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegenes Hotel direkt am Forggensee. Das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen und großen SPA-Bereich mit Innen- und Aussenpool und mehrerer Saunen und Ruheräumen. Das Abendessen im Restaurant mit 5 Gängen ist sehr lecker. Das Frühstücksbuffet enthält viel Auswahl auch an warmen Speisen. Sehr gut ist auch das Sport-Programm und die Anwendungen im SPA-Bereich. Einzig unser Zimmer (Suite) war etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der hochflorige Teppichboden, das Sofa und die Sessel sind etwas angestaubt und benötigen mal ein Update, was auch die Fernseher im Zimmer betrifft. In Summe aber sehr zu empfehlen und mit dem freundlichen Personal kommen wir gerne wieder.

Hotel Sommer is a place where I could stay for a long time. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. The rooms were spotless and quiet. The food was over the top delicious and nothing was left out. And the spa with 5 saunas was top notch with a view of the lake. Overall a stunning and luxurious place to stay.

The hotel is on a lake but all the doors to go out back to the lake are locked. The hotel doesn’t use the back with the views of the lake at all. Our room overlooked a roof and with no AC was so hot every night and during the day you couldn’t stand to be in the room for more than a few minutes. We stayed here in July 2024.
