市内から離れていますが、車で移動していたため幹線道路沿いにあり、アクセスは良かったです。チェックインが遅くなったこともあり、チェックアウトを１２時に延長していただき助かりました。しかし、シャワールームのお湯がなかなか熱くならず、結局着いた夜は断念して寝ました。翌日、お湯はでたものの、思っていたほどの湯量はなく、少し残念でした。

Bathroom sink was inconveniently small, not much space in the shower either. The guy at the front desk was very helpful, though.

A tired and run down motel with basic facilities. Trucks using their exhaust brakes coming down the hill were fairly noisy.

The location lends itself to a large amount of road noise and the trucks going through all night are incredibly loud and disruptive. The overall condition of the rooms was very dated and tired and well in need of an update. In terms of the physical location The property is well located at the gateway to Adelaide.

Very friendly staff. Location is fantastic for heading into Adelaide city or into the Adelaide Hills. Bed was also very comfortable.

The photos shown on wotif were NOTHING like the room I got given. Based on the pics I chose this one over Jackson’s down the road which was $18 cheaper.- mistake. On opening up the room it stunk of cigarettes as well.

Very old, 1 star if lucky. Dirty, loud and disappointing. Beyond simple and rundown and broke. Spa dint work when spa motor kicked in, large chunks of mixed human body waste spatt out continually till the motor finally gave up 2 mins later

Didnt give a toss and great location for public transport

At least the room was clean and bed comfortable. The smell of stale cigarette smoke was overpowering, the crack in wall huge. It’s old and worn out. Traffic noise bad but obviously not the fault of motel. Long term residents are a bit disconcerting. Won’t be back.

I had a wonderful time at the Tollgate Motel and was a great price

Beds were so comfortable and staff were amazing. The shower water pressure was terrific. The unit was spotless. Would have liked the tree stumps to be removed from the parking zone but on the whole can highly recommend this venue.

Older type motel. A few long termers. A little untidy and dirty outside. Staff and long termers were friendly. I was there 3 nights and bed was average.
