冷蔵庫か初めから故障していた。 修理または入れ替えをお願いしたが対応されず。 部屋を変える事はお願いしていないが、部屋を変えると30ポンド費用がかかるとの事で、結局何の対応も無かった。 チェックインの説明も早口で解りにくいもので、塩対応。 高い評判とは少し違う様に感じました。 少し残念な滞在となりました。

パディントン駅からすぐでホテル前が公園になっていてロケーションが良いです。 部屋も可愛いのですが、洗面シンクが小さすぎて手を洗うのも大変です。非常にコンパクトにまとめられてます。朝食は種類は少ないですが、パンは美味しいです。ロンドンの物価高を考えるとこの値段は妥当かなと思います。

パディントン駅のすぐ近くで、このホテルの一角だけ。伝統的なイギリスが残ってる感じで、目の前に小さな公園があります。 クマのパディントンの像とかがある公園です。 ホテルは非常にコンパクトなのですが、部屋の中の調度品が非常に伝統的で美しいイギリスを感じます。 タイルや陶器の取手、棚や、グラスまでとても上品です。私は帰国するだけだったので、一番狭い部屋に止まったのですが、寝泊まりするだけなら十分です。 ただ、ホテルで仕事をする必要がある場合は、もう少し大きい部屋を選択したほうがいいです。 ※小さい部屋は机がないため 朝食も、品数は少ないのですが、調味料の味加減が絶妙で、一品一品美味しかったです。 この旅行で食べた料理の中で一番美味しかったかも？ もし、dinnerも営業されてたら、絶対行くのにと思いました。 とても、コンパクトで素敵なホテルでした。 また泊まりたいです。

Excellent location. The hotel was very clean. The cabinet room was a bit small, but I didn't need a lot of space anyway.

Nice place, but stayed on first floor and you could really hear some metro or something. On a timely interval very loud noise. Hard to sleep from.

Our stay was nice with some hard caveats. The room was smaller than expected. Amenities were good with slippers/shoe covers/coffee/tea/water/sugar however no toothbrush, no milk. There was a flying ant in the room on the bed after about 20 mins of arriving and a spider in the bathroom (didn’t see anything more after dealt with). These rooms are NOT sound proofed. There is a connecting door in the Cabin room which makes the room next to it sound like the other person is in YOUR room. We could hear them walking around, coughing/sneezing like it was coming from our own bathroom. Not to mention the kettle beeping/boiling sound. When they were opening and closing doors it felt like it was inside of our room…. As though they were opening our door. It was a bit unpleasant at 1am, we became very conscious of using the tv and it didn’t feel like a private room. When brought up to the concierge in the morning he exclaimed we should have called the desk but it was 1am. He said we can find a solution and all he would suggest is we kept our bags there for the day (we had stayed 1 night). This wasn’t useful for us as we were leaving. It was raining so he offered us an umbrella to take. The central heating worked well but didn’t want to turn off so opening a window was necessary. Casting to the tv was easy.

Hotel is new refurbished and well located if you need to be around Paddington. Did not sleep much due to the heating being on max, was 30 degrees in the room all night. Opening the window only helped slightly, the heating couldn’t be adjusted and A/C was turned off. Other than not sleeping a good stay.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully preserving its historic character while offering modern comforts. Unfortunately, there was a significant issue with the hot water: we had ice-cold showers on two days and only barely lukewarm water on the third. While the staff were apologetic, there did not seem to be a strong sense of urgency or concern about resolving the problem, which detracted from what would otherwise have been a very pleasant stay.

Surprised the tv didn’t have have any way to airplay anything. They gave me a HDMI cable but the port kept cutting too and it just wasn’t good. For an expensive stay like that, you’d expect something like AppleTV or some way to get that entertainment section working.

Last minute book for a layover. Convenient location to Paddington Station. Lovely, quaint hotel across from a park. Very walkable and easy to get to train and metro at Paddington Station.
