Great hotel. Staff was excellent

Mama Shelter is always our first choice wherever we stay. This one was no exception! The staff simply the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone treated us like family! Great location, fun vibe, pool. Overall, we will come back next time we are in Nice! Thank you for taking such great care of us!!!!

A fun and contemporary hotel with a welcoming and helpful reception team. Close to the Port area in Nice and walkable from the main trainline and tramline to the airport. A good buffet breakfast selection. Our room was large with very high ceilings. A large bathroom and impressive shower. Sadly the shower drain was a bit smelly probably due to the hot weather. We didn’t get to use the pool as there were limited parasols and shade in the hot weather. Plus children playing slip and slide in the entrance to the pool area which we would have expected the team to have curtailed due to the danger and disturbance to other guests.

Wow the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. Rooms are small but who cares when the bed is so comfortable. Plus the masks are a funny touch. I’m definitely going to stay at this chain again!

Beautiful property and super friendly staff.

Pros: The breakfast was amazing! The staff were EXCELLENT.. SO kind and helpful! 💛Rooms were incredibly clean. Cons: The rooms were hot (could barely feel any A/C, so it was hard to sleep) and the showers weren’t too warm. Also, the location wasn’t the best.. wish we had stayed closer to Old Town.

Will definitely stay here again! Beautiful hotel, clean (modern!) rooms, very friendly staff, nice rooftop, serious party vibe in the downstairs restaurant. Not super familiar with the city, but the location seemed great. My one and only complaint was that the air conditioning was pretty weak, had a hard time sleeping in the heat. On the plus side, the mattress was ONE mattress - revolutionary concept for Europe. So no slipping in between two single mattresses pushed together. Really appreciated that. Price was fair. Can't wait to come back some day.

The hotel was great. Room was nice and quiet, big windows that actually opened fully. Aircondition also worked. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of good options both healthy, savory and sweets. Barista made perfect coffees. The pool area was very nice to chill in the afternoon when we were tired from walking the city. Also the decor is cool and fun.

Great location near the train station and walking distance to old town. Music is unbearably loud in the restaurant as a more mature traveler (but we got in late and didn’t want to wander the first night)

Super-gutes Hotel mit aussergewöhnlichem Design. Alles ist sehr modern und farbenfroh. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel jedem empfehlen. Wir hatten nach einem ruhigen Zimmer gefragt und haben selten so ungestört übernachtet. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt war für uns das Frühstück, da das Rührei aus einem Instant-Produkt bestand und die Wurst- und Käseauswahl sehr übersichtlich war.
