Nice and cozy place - very friendly and efficient host

Our experience was so bad that we stayed only one night instead the two we booked and paid. The photos of the property are absolutely misleading, there is absolutely no view from inside. The surrounding area is nice, just not from right at the house. The beds were absolutely horrible. And to add insult to the injury the host, located directly above the unit we stayed in, walked around and had conversations until after midnight. We could hear every word and it felt as if someone would fall thru the ceiling at any moment. Absolutely, totally disappointed by this place. Such a shame for a country with otherwise stellar accommodations.

It was up a mountain and so quite! The owner is a very friendly man and is eager to accomodate your wishes. Very good and friendly communication and reception. Although the room and chalet are authentic, the bed slept fine. And if you want a massage there! He is a licenced massage therapist! So relaxed! Can recommend!

Das Appartement war einfach, aber praktisch und sauber. Das Haus ist sehr ringhörig. Der Host war super hilfsbereit. Kein Verpflegungsangebot, für Wanderer ohne Auto gibt es nirgends Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Great place to stay. It was clean and all that was promised in the listing. The location was amazing as it is basically on the side of the mountain it this cute village area. Be sure to make certain the road access from Airlo is open! Google maps will take you up to a snow closed road in the winter. Turning around on this narrow road at night is sketchy. I did get a what’s app message, but it was too late as I already drive up the wrong way. I do appreciate the effort to let me know. Here is the message: —————————- Hi! Because of the snow we suggest you to arrive in Altanca from Deggio (coming from south) or from Piotta (coming from north). Do not take the street that passes through Madrano because there is not a snow service. This is a nice place for the money and the experience! Thanks

Nice cabin up in the mountain, just entrance with snow can get slippery, otherwise all else beautiful
