My 3rd stay here and it was just as good as the first and second. Consistent cleanliness, fantastic food and exceptional staff. I'm already booked in for my 4th stay in the new year and I'm certain I'll be back for more.

Good staff and excellent restaurant. Room was very large with comfy bed and large walk in shower. Enjoyed our two night stay.

Great room, service, breakfast and staff

Our first impression of the hotel was from the outside and it wasn't great. However, once we got into our room, relaxed later in the lounge and enjoyed a lovely breakfast, we really came round. Most of the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We do feel however, that check in could be a little better organised. We were pointed into a very busy and noisy bar area and it took a while before anybody came to check us in. It is slightly noisy at the front of the hotel, during busy travel times, but we had a really pleasant stay and our room was lovely.

Stayed 1 night to break up the journey from Cornwall back up North. Absolutely perfect. Gorgeous, clean, modern room complete with patio area and access to beer garden at the back. Air con, mini fridge, complimentary bottled water and milk for the brews. Staff were absolutely amazing. Food was hearty and delicious. It was a perfect end of our hols. The only negative was the clanging mirror hung on the back of the bathroom doir, which we lifted down and replaced before we left. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Unfortunately we had a room at the front of the hotel and the noise from the traffic was unrelenting throughout the night. We’d stay again but ask for a room at the rear of the hotel.

Staff were friendly. We had a dinner and a breakfast, Meal was delicious.
