lovely place with very comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms. Nice touches such as fresh milk in the room every day. Restaurant served very nice food - not cheap, but very nice. We all like romantic dinners with soft lighting, but one of the nights the lights were so dim, we could not identify some the food on the plate without tasting it. After that we picked our own table with better lighting :)

My second visit to this property now, great pub, great staff and the food is cracking.

Everything about our stay start to finish was excellent. Friendly staff, lovely room. Great food. Was worried it may be noisy over a pub, but it wasn't. Chose here as it was only 15 minutes drive to the Emmerdale set, where we were booked. Ideal. Also walking around the village and saw the manor house ruins was a nice surprise. Recommend travelling to Brimham rocks for a day as stunning.

Not much choice at. Dinner if pizza not a favourite very little veg with steaks!!

The room was decorated really well and decent size. Very clean and bed comfortable. Shower had good pressure, so not like the normal ones where it just drips out. Plenty of parking spaces.

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities. Room was lovely and really comfortable. We were on the front of the hotel so it was a little noisy being right by the road. But other then that, it was great. Very welcoming staff to.

I stay here often as it’s nice, clean and cosy!

All good Paid for a superior double Room a bit smaller than I thought it would be Think a bit expensive for what’s on offer However the service was very good The food at the restaurant was delicious

room was fine, beer garden brilliant. spoilt by slow service and the waitress not checking certain information, then ordering dessert after having to chase menu then finding out my choice was unavailable.

Enjoyed our stay and the rooms were great. Had a lovely pub garden too to sit out in the evening sunshine.

I loved this place. Room was great, everything worked and included an ironing board. Bar was very relaxing and at the same time sometimes lively. Food I also found very good

This hotel had great character, the rooms are decorated nicely, very quirky. The hotel has a nice little bar and the food was great. One of the nights had a Live singer and they were awesome. Overall it was a great experience and all the staff were great too.

What a great place to stay, room was fab and the food was amazing….. and of course the breakfast was a 10/10 for me. Look forward to staying again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Castle Inn. It has friendly and helpful staff with a good atmosphere. We didn’t like that we kept hearing a door banging downstairs at night until the bar closed (reported).
