お部屋も広くて静かでした。　お部屋が２階でしたので、大きなスーツケースを持って上がるのが大変でした。

早朝の到着だったので、荷物だけ預けてビスタービレッジへ行きました。チェックイン前でしたがビスタービレッジの割引クーポンを頂きました。クーポンはレセプションでお願いすればいつでも発行しますとの事でした。 １階のお部屋に宿泊しましたが、静かでとてもリラックスできました。フィットネスも使い放題なので、長時間のフライトの疲れをプール・サウナ・ジャグジーで癒しました。 イギリスでは冷蔵庫が部屋に無いのが割と普通なんですが、お部屋に冷蔵庫があれば尚良しなのでー☆ひとつで。

Really helpful staff, spa and gym were really well equipped, although one of the footie spa unit was missing a plug. Restaurant on Saturday night struggled with orders however food was very nice when it arrived. Rooms very clean and spacious.

Good spa, nice breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel has easy parking and check in was good. They weren’t able to manage a 30 minute extension on the room which was disappointing. The food and service in the bar was excellent.

Room and hotel were clean and quiet, cooked breakfast was tasty, and the staff were very polite and helpful.

The grounds are stunning but the hotel itself is looking a bit tatty. We were given an accessible room, which didn’t seem that accessible to me! The plug sockets by the bed are not normal uk plugs. So you can’t plug a charger in (for me, I couldn’t plug my breathing machine in) The tv was on the wall, but had plastic covers over the wires which just looks messy. The furniture was a bit dated but fine. The bathroom, although it’s supposed to be accessible I think it was hard work. The sliding door was heavy to open and close. The shower area had accessible fittings but they were all rusty. The floor of the shower hasn’t been done very well and is not tilted enough for the water to drain. This meant that after showering, the water traveled right over to where the toilet was in a big puddle. We had to use towels to mop it up so that we could use the loo in the night without wellies! I got several messages after booking to upsell the spa facilities… however on arrival half of the spa area wasn’t even working! A large hot tub, a steam room and heated beds were all off. The grout on the other hot tub was dirty and in parts had fallen out or not been done in the first place. It all needs a really deep clean and the grout re doing. The pool was a good size, but cold! The spa could be absolutely gorgeous if they upped the spec a bit and they’d certainly be able to charge more. Breakfast was very good, not a buffet but specific choices more like a restaurant.

The main jacuzzi wasn't working and the upgraded breakfast although better than the previous buffet, arrived lukewarm. When we sent it back that seemed to shift the previous attentive attitude from staff. Plus, the jams on the table weren't checked - 2 had been opened before we sat at the table. Stayed here before and each time it feels a little less charming.

Health suite was broken down, lockers did not work, pools/saunas out of order, jet pool was cloudy and cold.... needed a shower just to forget being in the health suite.

Room was abit small.

A bit of a mixed bag. Great showers, good food (very generous breakfast). Some staff were really warm and helpful but others let the side down. I was a bit shocked that they refused to serve tap water anywhere and were still using plastic bottles in the bedrooms. Had hoped to spend the day with friends in the spa but the charge for extra people is very high! The lake was also only available for very short periods. Didn’t work for us. I think if you’re looking for a golf stay it would suit you fine. Won’t be returning.

Spa is only above average part of this hotel. The decor is dated, the carpets throughout the entire corridors are bleach stained, it looks appalling. The breakfast was stale and warm, we couldn't finish it.

The rooms were clean and tidy, with robes and slippers available for use in the spa. Good gym and spa area. Great golfing areas with picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. The only slight blemish was limited snacks after 5.00pm

Hotel was clean staff friendly. Sorry but after that it goes down hill. Booked the hotel partly for the pool and facilities after a long days shopping. Pool changing rooms less than half the lockers work, pool cold. We planned to eat in the bar but on arrival this was basically closed for refurbishment and we were told we could eat there but it was soul less and full with a temporary bar. We were offered a choice of about 4 lagers, or soft drinks, no spirits or wine. We chose instead to try the restaurant. We ordered drinks but were told that no lemon was available for the g&t as the bar was closed for refurbishment. We ordered a main course which took over an hour to come when there was only about 4 other tables being used by other diners. When the food came my beef stew could be described as average at best and my wife received veg taglatelli when she ordered prawn linguine? The waiter offer to change it but we refused not wanting to wait another hour. Breakfast was almost as bad as some of the hot breakfast food was cold. We could at least have been pre warned about the bar refurbishment then we could at least have made other arrangements. Sorry but overall not 4* by any stretch.

Spa is fabulous, especially the strong water jets on the shoulder - fab. There were a few people about but it did not feel 'busy' - I did not have to wait to use anything. Same can be said for the gym which had better machines and more variations on kettle bells than my home gym. Godo quality breakfast with variety of choice, inclduing several options for milk. Lovely, friendly, welcoming and very polite staff at all touchpoints from arrival throughout. We were very happy with our last minute spontaneous visit. Would definitely visit again. PS rooms were really clean, which is important to me. And when my husband realised he was going to be too hot at night, the staff were very quick to accommodate with a helpful solution of a thick sheet instead of duvet.

The room was clean and everything smelt fresh. The jacuzzi bath in the Suite was Devine. The staff were super friendly and helpful - 10 out 10 😊. The big whirlpool/jacuzzi was lovely. The breakfast (room service) was mediocre at best - 1st morning it was cold and the poached egg was solid, the fresh fruit was just an apple (very disappointing). The 2nd morning was a little improved. Other than that we lived our stay and will be back 😊
