The car park was good and the bar was with a lot of choice of whatever you fancied to drink Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Location was perfect, easy access to local bus service. The hotel was very clean . Fires were lit to add to the lovely feeling of comfort

A beautiful hotel with a lovely atmosphere in a great location.

The parking was very good. When the hotel car park is full, you can park directly opposite in the local car park free after 6 PM. Until 9 AM. The food was excellent lots of choice. Top marks. for the chef. The local seagulls kept us entertained.

Excellent welcoming check in - allowed us to check in early which was a bonus. Room was great with a lovely view.

Old English charm. Wonderful bedding. Northern friendliness Absolutely faultless except for the awful gazebo in the garden, marring an otherwise perfect view. It didn’t really diminish the pleasure of staying at the Victoria but it would be nice if they got rid of it.

Great hotel and rooms. Had a lovely stay. Would recommend the Yorkshire breakfast and eggs benedict! Hotel is in an ideal position - easy to get down to the Bay itself and close to the bus stop to get to Whitby or Scarborough. Great atmosphere in The Loxley pub too. Beer garden is in a prime apot overlooking the sea. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning.
