Very attentive staff, very clean & excellent breakfast.

All of the staff were very helpful and our stay there was superb. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to stay there again.

Bar was very well stocked and very comfortable,excellent service ,break fast was brillant good choice in buffet and a lovely served hot breakfast

Brilliant two nights at The Fig Tree Shanklin. Highly Recommend! First evening, after Dinner at The Steamer Inn down on the Shanklin Esplanade, we caught the lift back up from the Esplanade and walked to The Fig Tree to experience their Monday Open Mic Night which was good fun and we were given accompaniment instruments to join in the funas well as singing along. Really enjoyed the evening. The Fig Tree is an excellent place to stay. Residents can buy drinks from the bar anytime over the day. I have disabilities and there is a lift which was very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and contained my favourite; Fresh Fruit including Kiwi, Pink Lady Apple, Banana, Satsuma and you can order all kinds of eggs. Full English or Veggie English as well as Porridge, and they layout small box cereals with Yogurts and Juices in the fridge + Coffee and Teas.

Great location with spacious lobby area and great beach club. Lovely suite with balcony overlooking the sea. Staff are veey friendly and helpful

Perfectly nice hotel. Room was nice and clean. Public areas look lovely and breakfast was fine but with limited seating in the bar and no drinks outside after 9pm when there is entertainment it is not conducive to a nice evening unfortunately. Otherwise the hotel is absolutely fine.

Very small room and very small double bed. One headboard light not working. Toilet difficult to flush. Restaurant not open in evenings.

Weekend was special for my partners 60th birthday. Checked in on the 24th May in excutive room view looking towards another person's garden. Asked for and upgrade was informed fully booked yet went online suite rooms were available , so booked another room and ended 2 rooms .Hair on the carpet and bathroom . Fridge with warm water. Toilet in frist room not flushing reported in the morning 25th came back at about 2pm still not fixed. Moved into the suite and balcony not cleaned. Paid for 2 rooms.No customer service. Poor service.

The hotel was lovely and so were the staff it was clean and comfortable, the only thing that ruined it for us was the toilet flush wasn’t working so we had to go down to reception everyone we need the toilet even during the night, and the constant flow of water coming from the toilet kept us awake .
