We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Moorlands B&B this June and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Desi and Mark were fantastic hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, and the delicious breakfast each morning was the perfect start to the day. The location is ideal, with direct access from the garden to the Lynton & Barnstaple Steam Railway for a lovely short steam train trip, making it a great base for exploring North Devon. The surrounding views are absolutely breathtaking and added to the charm of our stay. We highly recommend Moorlands B&B to anyone visiting the area and would love to come back in the future!

Moorlands is set in beautiful grounds with stunning views. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast selection. Our room was quite small but extremely clean. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We just returned from our stay at Moorlands over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We were two families with three children and had hired two apartments at the property. It was a lovely and comfortable place with all the home-like amenities you could need — every detail had clearly been carefully thought through. We arrived quite late on Friday due to the Bank Holiday and half-term traffic, but the owner, Mark, was there to greet us at check-in (well past 11pm) and helped us settle in straight away. Both Mark and Desi, his wife, were always available whenever we needed advice on planning our day or had any questions about the property itself. Their hospitality genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The Moorlands is a beautiful property in a fantastic location, perfect for families looking for a relaxing break. The apartments were clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again to Mark and Desi for making our holiday so enjoyable — we would definitely love to return in the future.

Excellent guesthouse/B&B. Beautiful location in the countryside. Outstanding gardens. Dedicated car park. Very clean and well organised. Lovely hosts. No more to be said.

Very nice B&B in lovely location . Large room, confortable bed, very quiet. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Would stay again.
