We had a wonderful stay at Mount View Hotel and would highly recommend it. The free parking for guests was a huge bonus and something we really appreciated. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, with a great selection and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and efficient, always happy to help with a smile. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it easy to explore Penzance and the surrounding attractions. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay with our family. The value for money is outstanding and hard to beat. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my three night stay here. The room was spacious, and came with a bottle of water and a biscuit. It was centrally located to explore the south coast of Cornwall. Saint Michael’s Mount is a mile and a half away. You can catch the bus right outside or walk if you don’t mind it. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and heat. I didn’t eat at the inn but it often smelled good! The car park can fill up if you’re out late, which I was when I saw a show at the Minack theatre. But I squeezed in. I had everything I needed here!

Very friendly our only issues was the TV didn't work even the guy behind the bar tried to sort it and there was nowhere else showing the rugby so that was very disappointing. The breakfast was wonderful but too big! Good stay

Staff were very friendly when checking in and show us too are bedroom and the room was clean . The breakfast was amazing and good breakfast .

The room was adequate for what i wanted and needed. Clean, tidy, hosts are lovely, didnt eat there so cant comment on the food, nor do I drink, so cant comment on the ale either, but the overall welcome and the room was lovely.

Very dated the room is noisy from road and trainline breakfast basic no Brown bread no mushrooms slow service as kitchen we’re focusing on the Council guys resurfacing the road bed very soft it’s a bit like Fawlty Towers just not as much fun

The bathroom was a bit shabby with a dirty shower mat. Also the shelf above the washbasin was so low that it was hard to wash without hitting your head.

Great little place to stay. Everything you need from a budget stay.

Room was clean however I couldn’t stand a fault smell, I decided to travel back home 220miles and return on the next day in different accommodation. Rather pay more than stay in this place. Not recommended.

Female staff were wonderful, breakfast was great, room clean and great location!

The room was quite small with en suite that was spacious. Own t.v. in room as well. Staff were very upbeat and friendly, and made you feel at home. Nice big breakfast with choice of cereal, fruit, croissants and cooked meal. Overall, very nice homely atmosphere. Would stay again.
