Toooo hooot , it was like in a sauna. The water was burning no cold water at all, the mattress mas punching us in the back the worst mattress ive ever seen. No air-conditioning not even on the holl, everywhere was too hot, and the smell was unbearable. Never again i would not recommend this place. I found places much cheaper with better conditions. Very disappointed, and no way to take the money back. We left as soon as we arrived, we didn't even sleep there. No staff in the place, they are coming from a different hotel to check as in . We arrived there nd no parking space even if we would pay being public parking in for of the building. We had to call sever times to try to do check in. Second floor room was like sauna, no air or ventilation. The beds were uncomfortable, you could feel the metal bars through the mattress if you can call it like that. Showers without cold water only boiling water literally. Old furniture and the floor wabely. We paid 120£ for 1 night but in the middle of the night we decided to go home due to poor hospitality. Bad bed mattress, no air and no shower.

The hotel description and pictures are totally misleading - the rooms booked were not even available and we were taken to property next door, no curtains in room, very dirty and foul smelling

This hotel is absolutely terrible. There are no staff on site, it’s absolutely boiling, stinks and the state of disrepair is shocking. We booked a city view and we were overlooking a horrible dirty old shed in a tiny, messy courtyard. We arrived at five and the rooms weren’t ready even though check in is at 2:00. The reception area is obviously closed and full of rubbish. There is a massive fridge in the room that makes a very loud humming noise all night, and the walls and ceilings are so thin you can hear people getting out of bed if they are above you. The kettle didn’t work, the curtains didn’t fit, the windows didn’t all open and there is paint peeling off the internal doors. You have to go to a separate hotel to check in as they run about five hotels with the staff for one. Worst place I have ever stayed.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The infrastructure was in very poor condition, and the entire place seemed neglected. Our check-in was delayed by three hours beyond the agreed time, which was extremely frustrating. When we finally got to the room, it was dirty and clearly lacked basic maintenance – broken fixtures, dust, and an overall feeling of carelessness. This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. I do not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or reliable place to stay.

Basic room tired

Not enough space for 3 adults in the room,no AC.

We arrived and were informed that the room we had booked months in advance was not available. We were told that they had another room in the building next door but one. We were given a key and door code, which did not work, and directed to the hotel. The hotel smelled very strongly of damp and sewage. We had booked a family room, what we got was a tiny room with bunk beds, fairly clean, but tiny. Tiny mirror in the bathroom. Certainly not what we ordered on the hotels website. I went to complain and ask for a room change. Nobody was available. There was a phone number which I tried several times before it was answered. When I explained my situation the guy on the other end could no longer speak English very well at all. We spent until 12:30AM driving around Bournemouth and surrounding areas looking for an alternative. Speaking to other hoteliers, the serenity was well known for doing this. Due to the Isle of white festival and, a big international cheerleading competition, which our daughter was taking part in, no rooms were available at any price Overall, we did not get what we paid for. The hotel was truly awful.

Check in was supposed to be 2pm but they lost the keys until 5pm. Total mix up with rooms. They gave me keys to a room where someone lived. Very stressful.

Checked late so only slept in the room. Very comfortable mattress. We has a lovely sleep. Clean room. Walk in shower in good order. Night staff friendly and very helpful. I was given a choice of three rooms. Would definitely stay again.

Worse thing here was our room which is situated the other side of a fire door where there were 2 other rooms. The fire door had no handle on it so for half a hour we were LOCKED IN UNABLE TO LEAVE. In the end we had to alert someone on the street through the window of our room who had to find their way in to where we were. Had there been a fire we may well have lost our lives. Place Needs a serious update. So basic… awful bathroom & shower with no extractor nor window that opened. Very cheap fittings and so old. Whole room smelt musty as no air con nor had it been aired. Only one bulb in centre with switch out of reach of bed. Noisy fridge. Nasty carpet. Nothing nice about this room. Only redeeming factor was the general cleanliness and bed made up well. I feel sorry for the staff who have to work here.

Excellent. This is a satellite room-only type of accommodation without reception. Key collection is from the “sister hotel” at the top of the road called Bourne Hall. The satnav postcode takes you to the rear of the property, better to aim for the road that it’s located on. My room was spotless. The firm mattress was just what I needed after a long drive. There was a mini fridge in my room. Location is great, ten minutes walk to the pavilion. All in all I would DEFINITELY stay there again. Ideal for graduation trip.
