The Seven is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the shops/bars/restaurants. On arrival we were upgraded to an amazing room, very spacious, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our car in the car park for a little longer after check out. We were only staying for one night and wish we could’ve been there for longer, we’ll definitely be back to stay at The Seven again!

The location of the property is fantastic. The biggest disappointment was we stayed over a very hot weekend and there was no installed air-conditioning therefore a Mobile Aircon unit was brought to the room but it didn’t work and the room was absolutely sweltering all weekend. We couldn’t sleep during the heat and it spoilt our stay.

Clean apartment, nice kitchen area with coffee machine and plenty of tea and coffee provided. Lovely apartment with short walk to city centre yet it was very quiet. Free parking was great too.

Ideal location. Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Front door was a bit of problem catching on floor. 2 nights stay. Air con unit was a blessing. No hot water on second morning when in great need of a shower.

We recently spent two nights in Chester, staying at The Seven. We really enjoyed our visit. The hotel is in a Georgian building in a quiet, but central, area of the City. The property has been very tastefully refurbished to a high standard. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities that you would need. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. It is a new style of hotel, in that it does not offer any food. You need to go out for breakfast. However, there are plenty of excellent cafes (we used the Honey Pot) within easy walking distance. The building does not have air conditioning.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile the receptionist was very welcoming We were staying in the 2 bed apartment and it was absolutely beautiful everything you needed very clean super trendy and 5 star 🌟 The beds were to die for . We were in the paddock We will definitely be back

The location was perfect!! Right near the historic race track and city wall and a block or two from town center! Loved the ease of the keyless entry and the well appointed room and lobby...

I chose this hotel to be near the racecourse. It is 30sec away. There is one even nearer but it is a Holiday Inn Express. Potential guests should understand this is an 'unstaffed' hotel. No kitchen, no meals and no concierge. You have a keypad for the main door and another one for your room. You let yourself in and out. And there is a machine where you can leave a tip! The building appears to have been converted from a large terraced house in a side street. The quality of my room was very good with modern features, nice shower and inevitably it was quiet. I was arriving early evening, going out for dinner, sleeping and leaving at 0800 so was perfectly adequate. But it isn't a 'full-service' hotel.

All good. I had an issue with the water which was promptly resolved.

Not what we had expected but a pleasant stay. This is not a hotel but rather a room in a town-house. The room was modern, clean and we'll furnished. Very close to all Chester's main attractions. We enjoyed our stay.

Booked a room, rang hotel to check it had air-conditioning - told yes, great. Arrives at hotel, they dont tell you this on booking its all codes for doors, no actual staff which i hated but good news, the lady shouting down the intercom gives me an upgrade as room ive booked "is boiling" gets in room 3, all good but no a/c. Emails hotel but no reply. Room lovely but with only a fan it was hot! In morning at 830am again questions why no A/C and asks can I leave bags.... 1030 - 2 hours later told yes! Very annoying. Communication so poor. Eventually told that room before upgrade DID have A/C - so why move me? I find it hard to believe some do and some dont. Could be so much better with staff.

Loved the room itself! Recently renovated. Beautiful bathroom. Great shower. Comfortable bed. But bed rather small. And very hot in room upon arrival. Barely cooled down with fan on high. Door did not latch properly, but finally got it figured out. NO staff. Very odd. Completely self-check in. Was ok after finally figuring things out. But odd. Room great once we got settled though.

Walkable location to city centre. Good size clean rooms and large bathroom. Good communication with management despite not being on site. Very close to city wall walk and Chester Racecourse.

Clean room. Spotless bathroom. Lovely touch was fair trade tea and real milk plus water in the mini fridge. Secure off road parking. Quiet area a short walk from city centre and all day car park 2 mins away as was a good little cafe.

Nice place and very close to the centre of Chester. Parking has to be reserved separately but no big deal as very large public car park almost next door: ~£8 for 24-hours.
