歴史的な建物を利用したとても素敵なホテルでした。バスタブが室内にあり、シャワールームもありました。併設のパブには犬連れの人が多くいましたが、皆とてもフレンドリーで静かに美味しいビールを楽しめました。 すぐ近くにはお城の遺跡やビールの醸造所があります。 次の仕事のためにタクシーを手配してくれて助かりました。 小さなホテルの良さがギュッと詰まっています。またぜひ行きたくなるホテルでした。日本人にはイギリスのカントリーサイドを楽しむためにぜひ訪れてほしいです。 駅に近く、スーツケースを持っていても歩いていけます。

nice stay!

Very old property with upgrades so you have to expect some issues. - small rooms narrow corridors no lift small shower. Bed was great undulating floors made you feel drunk but I don’t drink so…. Worst problem was lack of parking. And it’s a long way away

Customer service was a real issue at this hotel. There was no-one on Reception on my arrival, just a sign to say they were in the dining area. I went to the dining area and asked someone there if I could have help with my bags. There is no lift and there were 3 flights of stairs to my room. No-one came. Eventually, someone working in the empty bar area offered to help put my bags somewhere safe while I found somewhere to park. He was unable to advise me where the best car park was. When I'd found a car park and returned to the hotel, someone magically turned up at Reception and "booked me in." She offered to carry some bags for me - especially as I also had my little terrier dog with me. On my departure, there was no-one on Reception (which seemed to be the usual state of affairs) so I just walked out! It was very warm in the room so I asked a member of staff if there was a fan available. She said there should be one available, but I heard nothing and no fan appeared. No-one said they hoped I enjoyed my stay, and no-one asked me if everything was satisfactory, and no-one asked me if I'd enjoyed my stay!

Clean room, but hot as we were on the top floor but fine by late evening. Staff were really nice

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel with a rich history in the delightful town of Lewes. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and an en-suite shower room. Dining was excellent, the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful.

Hadn’t visited this hotel since it changed hands. Now a clean and high quality hotel in a really interesting old building. My only criticism is that breakfast price was a bit steep.

A very pleasant hotel to stay in with an excellent bar, beautiful restaurant and stunning terrace. The food was excellent and a lot of thought, time and money has clearly gone into decorating the rooms. Thank you for a wonderful stay

As usual a very nice stay at the White hart. The best hotel in town, also with a great restaurant

Did not have Breakfast so can’t comment, I’m sure it was very nice but it was too expensive compared to lots of other places in the area.

Our family loved everything about this charming hotel! The staff were lovely, the food was beautifully presented and delicious and the hotel was quaint and historical. The White Hart was exactly what we were looking for and we would definitely stay there again! KB

Very nice small hotel, best in the area

restaurant is very good, however you need to wait 30 min at least to get breakfast or lunch, dinner…..

Don’t venture out the back of the hotel. Absolutely shocking with tramps living in the rear accommodation block. Would not recommend at all.
