The food here is amazing and you can't beat the location for touring North Wales. Janna was the star of the place. That said, the room needs serious maintenance. The mattress was completely shot—sagging with metal springs that poked into my body every time I moved. For me, the most important part of a trip is to have a good night to sleep and it baffles me that this hotel has this Kind of mattresses. The pillars were OK though. The shower walls also had mold on them. On top of that, the room doesn't even have a proper chair to sit and relax in before bed, which I've never experienced at a hotel before

Staff were excellent and room was clean and comfortable, continental breakfast was good , variety of food on offer . The evening meal was outstanding and they have good wines and beers in tap .

Lovely stay

Excellent staff, food and drink.

Very clean and quiet place to stay and very close to the village of Beddgelert. The woman doing the orders for breakfasts, clearing and serving breakfasts and doing reception in the morning was particularly friendly and worked tirelessly on her own to make sure everything was okay for us. The shower/bath wasnt particularly powerful but fine (maybe just a shower in the room would be better) and there was confusion at first with the room brochure saying pay extra for a cooked breakfast and then us being told it was included. For the price, just include a cooked breakfast to make it clear. Overall, lovely place to stay with fabulous walks and village on the doorstep.

The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Beddgelert was stunning. The breakfast was delicious. Ty Afon is also very close to Mount Snowdon if you're interested in climbing it. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Very helpful and flexible when the hotel delayed our dinner for us when we were late getting back from a trip up Snowdon.

What a fantastic place! It is in a fairy tale setting and the grounds and town are beautiful! Regan is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for places to visit and hike. The food is exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. This was our favorite spot on our 2 week long trip. Highly recommended!

Amazing location in the valley and next to a spectacular river. Cant go wrong with location if you like nature, trails, tranquility and peace.

Great location. Greeted well and shown to the room. Place is relaxing and set in a great spot with loads of places to walk. Village is small but has enough places to eat and drink. Service levels at the hotel were great.

Highly recommend this adorable little hotel. It was in a beautiful location, with mountain views and just a quick walk into the village. Close to lots of great hiking, and offered a delicious breakfast every day.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed for one night and had a lovely stay at Ty Afon. The house was in a fantastic location in Beddgelert and was around a 3 minute walk to the village shops and pubs. It provided a good base for getting about with plenty of local walks. The staff were helpful and breakfast was nice, the only recommendation I would make is for more selection with the continental option. Overall a lovely Autumnal stay and would stay here again.

Beddgelert is beautiful and Ty Afon the perfect place to stay. Very clean and well equipped with lovely staff and ‘Be Kind’ soaps which were a real treat.

Beautiful hotel and an area around is great

Lovely hotel with great staff! Made to feel very welcome, great service from dropping off luggage before check in to leaving. Room was great, clean, tidy and comfortable. I would certainly recommend and revisit in the future.

Stayed as we have family in the village. Never stayed before but we would return. Continental breakfast included, great choice porridge, toast fruit & yoghurt with option to pay for cooked but we were happy with continental. Room clean and adequate for our stay , toiletries provided, plenty of parking. A little out of oyr usual budget as its a visit to family but was a last minute booking & it did feel like a treat break.
