For me the staff and the welcome made this such a lovely stay. I was a little confused when I arrived as had to go upstairs to the bar to check in but the warm welcome by the owner and the staff made me really feel at home. I was a little worrIED about there being a lot of stairs and the very kind and friendly owner gave me a room on the first floor so I didn’t have to climb too many. My kettle wasn’t working and there was no tv remote and when I told them the kettle wasn’t working replaced right away and so was the remote. The breakfast was great Matt was so friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the Turkish breakfast. I would definitely recommend it and I will stay again when visiting Ramsgate. I loved the room especially the comfy double bed. Not ce powerful shower too .

Property is very tired looking and the bathroom light didn't work. I told reception but it was not repaired during our stay.

Great seafront location , seamless check in / checkout, staff welcoming, good value.

We arrived and the check in was fine but the shower didn’t work, there was no running water and the light in the bathroom didn’t work. The breakfast was free Because there wasn’t any. No breakfast and reception looked at us as if we were mad, they had no idea and suggested we come back after the check out time of 11am, we will not be staying here again and nor should you

This was my third stay here and again everything went well. I was allowed to check in early, greeted with a smile by the receptionist, accompanied to my room and provided with a nice plump pillow upon request. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and everything worked well. Lovely large tv. Strong shower and a bath also provided. Would definitely recommend for the price.

I loved this hotel. Lovely bed with white linen. A window that actually opened. Bathroom was lovely too with shower gels and ahampo and soap. I had a lovely sleep. I will stay here everytime i visit ramsgate. There is a bus stip that goes to margate on a loop. Opposite the marina and staggering distance to the bars. Real value for money. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I stayed in a single bedroom and it was beautifully clean. No dust to trigger my allergies, nicely displayed snacks, neatly lined bed, and a wonderful bathroom. The staff were very polite and gave helpful information. I highly enjoyed my experience there and will book here again.

Not bad but noisy being above popular bar

Nice room, not massive but sufficient for a single room. Comfortable bed and large television. Powerful and hot shower, if a little cramped. The only downside was there is no air conditioning or fan in the room. I asked a member of staff for an extra pillow as the one in my room was quite flat and she brought a nice plump one to my room with a smile and pleasant attitude. Thank you.

The check-in was smooth and easy. Single Room was clean and well laid out. Will definitely stay here again.

Right on the busy harbour, walking distance to supermarkets, pubs, beach etc. Room single, had a noise I didnt like, so gratefully moved to double with window to flower and greenery view. Staff very helpful, so enjoyed my stay despite a TV problem which was solved. Not fancy, pub noise aplenty. Would come again.

This is a basic, old, seaside hotel on the sea front. Price wise, if there hadn't been any issues, I would say you get what you pay for. However, there were issues, I made a pay on arrival booking for 5 rooms, they took two of the payments from my account several days before my stay then lied saying EXPEDIA had taken them. They had not. They were quite rude in their replies giving all sorts of excuses and blaming Expedia. The biggest issue was that there was no hot water in any of the rooms, no one could shower or wash properly, on a very hot, sweaty day. This is totally unacceptable, However, rather than apologise,m they just made excuses and offered me a tiny amount, £15, as comnpensation for one room. They lied and said the other four rooms were booked by other people, but they were not, I made the booking, I had one reference number for it. They then said that they had, after 'careful consideration' decided not to offer me any compensaton and the matter was 'closed'. The whole tone of all their emails were very rude. On top of that, the curtains in one of the rooms were hanging off the wall, the bathroom sink was cracked and the plugholes were full of someone else's hair. I suggest you avoid this place.

The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is slightly dated but clean. Our room was a basic double with a rear yard view but was clean. Bathroom was good and a powerful shower. TV and tea making as expected. There's no parking and on street outside the hotel is £3 an hour. Free parking between 6pm to 9am but that still equates to £27 per day. I managed to find free on street parking up the hill, about a 10 minutes walk away. Hotel is bang in the middle of all the bars and restaurants on the harbour and 2 minutes walk to the UK's largest Wetherspoons with lovely views over the beach and sea. Would stay again.

Nice clean room. Hotel seemed to unstaffed most of the time with instructions to WhatsApp if you need anything. WhatsApp’s responded to promptly however. Difficult to park nearby if town is busy e.g. Saturday night
