We had a room on the ground floor directly above the kitchen vent. It went off at 9pm and come back on just after 6am in the morning. Very noisy even with the window closed. We reported this to reception and were told that if we go back to this hotel they will make sure we don’t get this room again. Avoid Room 003. Everything else was good

A central, nice. but very dated hotel. No air-con and extremely hot during night even though we slept with the windows open. Beatiful seaview and easy to walk to the beach and the centre. The bathroooms are very old and do need a brush up.

Lovely location with available parking outside the property or on the roadside. Beautiful views of the beach out of our bedroom window. Room was clean and comfortable with the expected basics provided. Staff were helpful and informative and keen to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a served full English which can be adapted to suit individual needs. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying here again.

Thank you Susan and Anastasia for a wonderful stay at the beautiful Ashton Court Hotel. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this lovely place. I slept so well on the very comfy bed.

An excellent location and reasonable rates. Tired hotel which could do with upgrades to the bathrooms in particular, but really needs a lot of rethinking if it’s going to survive. It has so much potential to be great. It’s a long time since I’ve stayed somewhere that only had instant coffee available for breakfast. But staff were friendly and it was good to find somewhere we could take our dog. I much prefer to stay somewhere that is not part of a big chain, but places like this need to do more raise their game if they are going to survive.

Check in was very easy, the room was compact but okay for 1 night stay. We had our dog and our room was the furthers away from the main entrance or garden, so would have been better if we was a bit closer. breakfast was really good and the bar was well stocked and a great view from the bay window. would defiantly stay again.

Friendly owners and staff room was clean excellent tea and coffee facilities breakfast very good room was a bit dated with soap instead of shower gel and a small shower with shower curtain but very clean and comfortable would stay again as great location too

Brilliant gem of a hotel. Sea view room couldnt be more stunning. Homely feel. Couldnt fault it

If you are looking for a good base, that's clean and friendly then look no further. Breakfast was plentiful hot and cold options enought to set you up for day. Rooms and bathroom are a little dated, but clean and bed very comfy. Would stay again.

Cant comment fully as my partner became ill and we had to return home after only 1 night , the staff were. Pleasant but our room was small and dated furniture was shabby looked like burns in the carpet, due to scaffolding outside our bathroom window could,nt be opened.

Victorian property so of that age very helpful staff clean good breakfast and great sea views will stay again

An excellent, good value base for our walking group. Had a really lovely few days exploring the area. The staff could not have been more helpful and we would be happy to return.

Good location Check in was fine We were surprised there were no toiletries in the room And disappointed that we couldn’t get any fresh milk for our tea on arrival or for the morning Breakfast OK

Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had: fresh and generous ingredients cooked to perfection. The “garden view “ room was pleasant, the staff were delightful, the parking served our needs on the day.

First time staying in this hotel and was not disappointed room was clean and tidy breakfast was excellent along with the staff who were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble would not hesitate in staying again only problem was parking but overall had a most enjoyable 3days .

Good hotel with an excellent breakfast and located near the beach ⛱️. Rooms are old style but cleaned.. Staff was co operative and helpful but reception was closed after 8 pm and you may rely on the person available in Bar. Bathroom flooring was old and making sound. Someone creating noise out floor in midnight. As building is old, you may hear loads of noises while someone walks on the floor. Overall a good hotel within a budget stay
