3人で2泊となると2つのコテージとなり10万円/1泊/1コテージで計40万円でした。これ自体に不満はないのですが、レセプションからコテージまでチェックイン、アウト以外はゴルフカートの利用は基本的に出来ません。幸か不幸か高台のコテージで当方膝関節、肺に支障ありで往生しました。雨風が多くてレストラン利用時も濡れてました。コテージへの道は砂利敷の坂道です。家族はそれが良いとはしゃいでましたが日本的なサービスに慣れた当方は次回は無しと思いました。外人の宿泊者は荷物を引きずって登ってました。レセプションとコテージ間の連絡はいちいち携帯電話からで館内通信機は有りません。2日目ルーム清掃の木製表示板が無くて1部屋はして貰えませんでした。多分強風で紛失と思われます。レストランはまあまあ普通に美味しかったです。

Un hotel extraordinariamente caro. Las habitaciones son unas cabañas pequeñas, mal ventiladas, incómodas y sucias. El hotel no tiene suficiente personal, y el que tiene, no está capacitado. Terrible experiencia, y a un costo totalmente irrazonable.

The hotel very unique with nice view. Hotel staff very friendly. Room clean and well maintained just the size a little bit small. Delicious breakfast.

Terrible customer service

The staff were amazing; I twisted my ankle and they went above and beyond in providing me ice, transporting me from our cabin to the restaurant and checkout - I cannot praise the staff enough. They made my time at Isle of Skye pleasure. The cabins are incredible - the view of Portree and the bay was phenomenal. Also, they are quiet - no listening to noisy rooms or someone walking on the floor above - absolute peace and quiet. Our stay at Bracken Hide was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland.

This was another one of our favorite hotels on this trip. The cabins were well appointed with lovely views. Enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Cocktails and food were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the sauna and did our first cold plunge! Be prepared to take a short hike up a rocky trail to get to your cabin. They have golf carts to take your luggage up.

Parking situation SO Bad. No help had to drag our badge to and from our room up hill in loose stones. Rooms very small. Good views. Nice breakfast.

The hides are nestled into the landscape with beautiful views of Loch Portree. Easy to access the village and surroundings adventures.

The staff is exceedingly friendly and engaged. The included breakfast was amazing and above and beyond a traditional hotel breakfast. The concept of having individual “hides” or pods was fun and creative. Locationally, the hotel was a great base for sightseeing on Skye. We didn’t want to leave. We highly recommend this hotel.

Unique views out of your individual glamping pod. The odds are very nicely appointed and super cozy.

Amazing property. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. It was perfect for resting after a day full of driving.

Great place to stay, but very overpriced.

Room was comfortable with good views, but the location is just too far from town if you don’t own a car. If you’re a hiker unlucky enough to get a cabin at the top of the mountain, this means another 20 minutes uphill climb to reach hotel + 10 min steep gravel climb inside the hotel AFTER your big hike, and the staff members on the buggy would not offer you a lift even if they saw you struggling. Because of how new this property is, a lot of the amenities in the cabins feel a bit rough - broken kettle, stiff door locks/handles, clicky pipes etc. Better suited for those with a car and are hoping to stay for relaxation.

Room had a bit of a musty smell but was otherwise clean

The pods are great and the rooms are clean though a bit small but functional we just would’ve liked to have had a little more housekeeping attention and the dining room was booked both nights we were there which was frustrating because it was so beautiful, but the breakfast were delicious and the location is ideal

This property was so unique with such an amazing view. Unfortunately availability of food and beverage was not what we expected. The bar closed earlier than listed and when we asked hotel staff if we could buy a glass of wine, we were told no. A small shop in the lobby with bottles of water, wine, snacks would have been a great addition. Also, one of the 2 saunas was broken, only one bathrobe provided per room and there was a broken shower shelf.

This was one of the most breathtaking hotels I have ever stayed at.

The view from the fairy glen was outstanding. However one sauna is not in use and the other is by reservation only. We could not get a reservation so we were unable to use these. Our cabins floor was in pretty rough condition when walking in, it almost felt like you would walk through the floor like it was water damaged. Housekeeping left someone else’s water bottle on the floor and took our towels, but left one dirty one and did not replace them with clean towels. They also did not replace water bottles. There was no shelf in the shower so you have to put your toiletries on the floor. We had to walk down to the front desk to have this addressed which it was pretty quickly but still disappointing for the price point and “luxury” label. Breakfast was an incredible experience and the food was outstanding. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was good but again, not worth the luxe price tag. The views however were incredible and I enjoyed that the most. Just giving an honest review for those on the fence for the price tag.

Really recommend this hotel, it makes the stay at Skye truly magical. We got engaged in Skye and my partner contacted the hotel to ensure that the room was decorated and a bottle was ready upon arrival. They completely supported him through the process and were very helpful in ensuring our stay was enjoyable. In terms of the accommodation, you have your own individual cabin on the hills, no distractions, completely private. There is also a sauna and a range of choices for breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful property with wonderful views. Restaurant was great and staff super helpful and friendly. The walk up to the higher level rooms can be challenging, but definitely would stay here again.
