町の中心であるモノリス教会のすぐそばでロケーションは最高だが、タクシーで横づけできるのは裏の出入口で通常は閉まっているため、チェックインする際に少々戸惑った。また表の入口は急坂に面しているため、チェックアウト後スーツケースを引いてタクシーの乗場まで行くのはかなり大変だった。 泊まった部屋は５部屋あるうち３番目のランクの部屋だったが、バスタブ、シャワー、トイレが分かれているなど、とても豪華な造りの部屋であった。 部屋にはミネラルウォーターと湯沸しがあったが、唯一残念だった点は、部屋に冷蔵庫が無かったこと。 朝食は完全なコンチネンタルブレックファストで暖かい卵やソーセージなどはなく、時間も８時半からと始まるのがやや遅い。 またホテルのレストランでチェックアウトした日の昼食をとったが、味・値段ともさすがミシュランの星付きという感じであった。

I could not have been happier with my stay at this lovely little hotel.

Situé en plein centre : agréable mais nécessité de porter les bagages en passant par une rue pavée très pentue et pas de parking ce qui me paraît rédhibitoire pour un hôtel 4 étoiles .

Perfect spot to explore Saint Emilion for a couple of days. But bring hiking shoes or sneakers - the streets are very steep and rocky.

This is the most beautiful and charming hotel in the area. It is the most ancient hotel Saint Emilion, but remodeled and with all the comfort inside and at the same time still conserving that charming and luxurious French old style. Five stars customer service, the staff was great, the cleanliness and of course the Michelin restaurant they have inside the hotel which was a magic experience to try. When I come back I will stay in the same hotel.

Bel hôtel dans la zone piétonne de Saint Emilion. La chambre est grande et joliment décorée. Seul le petit déjeuner est un peu « Lightning »

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet hôtel, son emplacement idéalement situé, les chambres sont propres, décorées avec goût et préparées avec soin, le petit déjeuner est parfait dans une très jolie salle et le personnel professionnel, accueillant, souriant et attentif.

Great service from the front desk staff. They went out of their way to ensure guests had a full experience in Saint Emilion. Lovely old building in the middle of the old town.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location was fantastic and the hotel itself was really beautiful and clean. But the best part was the amazing staff and really really memorable meal at the restaurant. Highly recommend this place. Much better than some we have been to at much higher price points!

Globalement une bonne expérience mais la suite 1782, si elle doit vraiment permettre de recevoir jusqu'à 3 personnes (comme là, où nous étions 1 adulte et 2 ados), devrait faire l'acquisition d'un meilleur lit d'appoint que le clic-clac proposé. Mon fils m'a dit lui-même "c'est un trempoline ?" car les lattes, parfois défectueuses, se sont totalement affaissées. Dommage car le reste de la suite est adéquate pour ce type d'établissement, décor soigné, salle de bain (avec douche et baignoire) spacieuse, personnel discret, petits déjeuners avec un large choix, etc.

Lovely historical hotel, Michelin meal amazing!!

We stayed in the annex. Parking offsite so you have to transportyour bags to room. Reception is on an extremely steep, rocky street. Impossible to navigate if raining or not wearing rubber soled shoes. 5 star (3 hour) dining experience not to be missed if you have the $. Accommodation for special diets was impressive. Pool table in our annex was a fun bonus, but room was musty. Beautiful small garden.

AC did not work and when asked if they could fix it, they said they would next week (after our stay). The place is very old (which is its charm), but you can activiely hear everyone in the rooms next to and above you. Further, the pull out bed was broken and had no support under it, so was just concaved in the middle and not usable. Staff are very nice and the hotel is in a great location.

Rooms are very nice...but no hot water at all for 2 days...very difficult to get luggage to the property.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of St Emillion. We loved our stay here.

Lovely hotel, but was disappointed that the suit I booked had a very old very uncomfortable sofa bed, with the worst mattress and they had put an old brown wool blanket on it. Also the pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
