⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hotel Tembo Barcelona exceeded all of my expectations. The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and has a modern, upscale feel from the moment you walk in. Everything was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WAS AMAZING!!! One of the highlights was the incredible views—they’re absolutely stunning and make the stay even more special. The rooms were comfortable, well-appointed, and offered everything needed for a relaxing visit. (Although my room was a lot smaller than the pictures led me to believe, as well as the actual views from my room) I booked the Panoramic studio with a sea view, it was far from that but still nice. **I had only one issue. I ordered a drink at the pool, paid for it and after 30 minutes I realized no one had brought it out to me. I went inside and informed the bartender that I had to now leave and no longer water the drink. They advised me that I can come back and get the drink later. When I returned the staff had changed and they were beyond rude and refused to give me the drink I had paid for! However, If you’re looking for a contemporary hotel with amazing amenities, beautiful scenery, and a luxurious atmosphere, I highly recommend Hotel Tembo Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again!

Myself and my family (husband and baby) had a great time here. The staff were so friendly, helpful and prompt. The room with the kitchenette was great to prepare food for my baby and the breakfast also had a lot of options. Would honestly come back!

Its a very cool hotel, you have the metro, tram and bus station nearby. but the neighborhood is not the best. dont walk alone as a women at night there.

Clean room great staff

Very disappointing and over-priced. We booked the hotel well over a month in advance and the price was high, but given the presentation and reviews, we though it would be value for money. It turned out not to be the case! The Pro's: Reasonable size room. Kitchenette is well stocked in terms of cutlery and crockery, hot plate. microwave and kettle Nice interior design/decoration. The Cons: Very unpleasant/unsympathetic staff The pictures on the website are misleading Very miserable view from the balcony Balcony chairs and table were very dirty It is starting to show signs of aging/wear-and tare as the shower water seeps through to the adjacent toilet cubicle. Totally over-priced We booked a room that was listed as twin or double, explicitly asked for a double bed, but were given a twin. Our check in was between 3pm and 4pm and when we asked if we could be moved to a double room instead, we were refused. We were told in a very matter of fact way, that if we wanted a guarantee on of a double, we should have booked a a more expensive room and that there are no double rooms available. The great thing about the internet is that you can check on these things, so we did. Not only were there double rooms available, but they were at nearly half the price we paid. Yes, there was a Grand Prix that weekend, which was an excuse the hotel used to jack up the prices. Given the fact that we had already over-paid and they had plenty of unsold rooms at 4pm, it would cost them nothing t

What an amazing stay we had! We stayed here during primavera sound and the location was amazing for the festival. Hotel was absolutely lovely and the view from the rooftop pool was spectacular.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel is only a 10min walk to a mall and one of the hop-on hop-off stops to take the tour. There is a mini mart next door.

Clean and well prepared when we checked in. I found it wasn't that well maintained during our stay but overall it was good and I'd recommend it.

Fantastic stay at the Hotel Tembo, the staff in the Pool Bar and Restaurant were very friendly and helpful, such a lovely spot to take in some sunbathing at the end of the day. Our room was cleaned every day but we did not see any cleaners or bedding trolleys, amazing service. Thank you. Only comment is the location is near a poor area and a local advised us to take care and not to walk around that area. the coffee bar across from the Hotel is perfect for a well costed start to the day breakfast. You will always need to get a taxi to see the sites of Barcelona average cost €15 per journey, but there is always a Taxi waiting outside to meet you. Loved the Hotel Tembo, a wonderful stay.

The rooftop facilities were great. Visit the breakfast buffet earlier than later so you can take your time.

Hotellet var nybyggt & väldigt fräscht samt snyggt designat. Poolen var liten men vi besökte under låg säsong vilket gjorde att vi inte stördes utav det utan kunde njuta av vädret och utsikten. Det som var dåligt var personalen uppe vid restaurangen vid poolen, de tog för mycket betalt och ville inte lämna tillbaka beloppet som hade blivit fel tills jag envisades vilket är en konflikt som jag inte borde tvingats till att ha på ett såpass fint hotell. Pinsamt. I övrigt var personalen trevlig & tillmötesgående. Rekommenderar detta hotellet om man vill bo i ett lugnare område utanför centrum
