Hostal sehr schwierig zu finden. Nicht mit dem Auto erreichbar. Schlechte Parkmöglichkeiten. Essen sehr gut und freundliches Personal.

Really well styled and equipped room but a few things didn’t work. We didn’t sleep well as the pillows were really uncomfortable and there were no windows only a patio door which led onto the restaurant terrace itself. Breakfast was amazing on the first morning but I think the chef was off the next day as it wasn’t so good the next morning. It is also quite difficult to find with no parking close to the accommodation so you will have to carry your cases up to the building. Overall good for a young couple but not suitable for everyone.

Great personable property, lovely rooms, staff and just loved the area though we did have some difficulties finding it was easy to access thereafter and well worth it. Thank you

What a treat! We were delighted by the classy, artsy ambience, the excellent dinner and breakfast, and the general care we felt during our too brief stay. The view from our terrace (Merlot) was exquisite. So happy we stumbled upon this gem of a hostal. Thank you.

Fantastiskt trevligt litet boutique hotel med tillhörande restaurang. Här serveras små rätter i världsklass ut från det lilla köket av ägarna. Kan starkt rekommendera.

Een gezellig, klein boutiquehotel.

Sehr gute Lage zu Fuss. Mit dem Auto nicht möglich. Parkplätze rar und etwa 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Sonst alles super.

Sfeervol ingerichte kamer met vele extra’s. Heerlijk ontbijt. Aardig personeel en super locatie.

Excellent stay and service. The place is kept to the most!

Location is perfect, just at start of hill in old town. What we wished we had known when we arrived instead of going up the steep steps if you go past this there is a more gentle ramp.This is a small boutique hotel only 4 rooms, all named after wines, we stayed in Sav blanc room Small but adequate, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included small but tasty. Very small serving of orange juice & extra coffee would have been nice. Garden very pretty but weather was not on our side Hotel appears more renoun for its restaurant Shiraz than its rooms, restaurant is very busy, food fantastic, we ate there twice in a four night stay

Excellent place in charming old town with amazing views. The hostel is beautifully decorated and classy. Will definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is beautiful and tastefully decorated throughout, in a perfect location to explore both the old town and beach front on foot. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much bother.

Stayed a weekend in January. Beautiful, stylish accommodation. We stayed in the Shiraz room which was cosy and had a beautiful view of both the mountains and partial view of the sea also. Small terrace which we didn’t make use of due to time of year but can imagine is lovely in the spring/summer. Lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful when our google maps didn’t work and we got lost trying to find the accommodation. Room cleaned daily. Had a kitchen area with coffee machine so was great to have a cuppa in bed watching the sunrise in the morning. Will be returning in warmer weather to try the merlot room with roof terrace!

En esta oportunidad estuvimos en la habitación Shiraz. Excelente, cómoda, con muchos detalles para sentir que han pensado en los huéspedes. Personal más que amable y bien predispuestos!

Excelente ubicacion para visitar Altea, tanto el casco antiguo como la playa y el paseo maritimo Pequeño hotel de pocas habitaciones ubicado dentro de una casa del casco de Altea en las primera cuesta que hace que no sea pesado subir con la maleta Parking publico a escasos 250 mts Mucha oferta gastronomica incluida la del hotel Habitaciones decoradas con muy buen gusto en el detalle Si hay que poner un pero, el check out demasiado temprado a las 11:00h. Tuvimos que pagar un suplemento de 20€ por abandonar mas tarde la habitacion

Shiraz is a beautiful, clean, well maintained property. We stayed in the Shiraz room, which has a comfortable bed and separate sitting area with a balcony. The food at Shiraz is very creative and excellent. Their included breakfast was delicious every day, with fresh fruit, croissants, coffee, juice, etc. Special thanks to Luke who was very accommodating and super helpful with parking and directions. Special thanks also to Sofie, she was very nice and helpful. Thanks also to Sebastian and the rest of the team, they are all so hospitable and kind. Altea is a beautiful place, but Shiraz and their team made it extra special. The only thing to nit pick about is the lack of parking. But once you park, getting around is easy. The beach boardwalk is 4-5 mins walk down the hill. The church and old town are 4-5 mins walk up the hill. There are dozens of great restaurants all around and markets in easy walking distance. When we return to Altea, we will again stay at Shiraz. Highly recommended.
