Excellent place to stay before your hike. Cafe, restaurant, gift shop located by BaseCamp. Nice view of a lake below

Hotel très bien placé et bien tenu.

we stayed in both the hostel building and the main hotel and the hotel is much nicer but the hostel has a good feel too--really helpful staff and a gorgeous lake. Only suggestion is you ca hear the restaurant music in some of the rooms so maybe turn it down a little at 8? but a great experience and the easiest way to really get into the Norwegian countryside.

This is just the best place to see the Norwegian countryside. If you’re rugged just rent in the hostel house — everything super clesn there also!

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit einem tollen Blick auf den See. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Start zur Preikestolenwanderung ist direkt am Hotel und die Parkplatzgebühr von 300 NOK inklusive

Väldigt fin och trevlig plats. Dock hade jag önskat att stugan kunde ha lite mer i köksvägen för att göra egen frukost. Men annars rekommenderar jag detta stället om ni ska bestiga preikestolen

Der Ausblick war unbezahlbar. Wir haben es genossen direkt in der Natur zu sein. Zwar ist das Restaurant etwas teuer, aber dafür sehr gut.

Veldig greit hotel. Vi var en natt og det var kjempe fint. Utsikten i frokosten var strålende 👍

Leider wurde die Musik (sehr laut) im Restaurant unter uns in der Nacht nicht abgestellt und wir konnten vom Bass kaum schlafen. Sehr schade

Gefallen hat uns die traumhafte Lage, die Pflege der Gebäude und des Anwesens. Die Fjellstube ist richtig gemütlich. Sauberkeit ,Organisation Freundlichkeit, alles top. wir würden jederzeit wieder hingehen!!!

Fin og enkelt hotel, servitørene hadde ikke alltid kontroll med påfyll av frokosten, eller med bestillinger. Men var veldig hyggelig og prøvde sitt beste

Best location to stay for visiting Preikesolen. Bueatiful lake view.

The location was perfect for the hiking. Sleeping in bunkbed was fun experience though.

The fire alarm box started making sounds, as it had a fault on it at 03:00 in the morning. This also meant that there was no lights or electricity in any of the rooms, as it only left the emergency light on.

This hotel was the perfect base camp for hiking to Preikestolen. The lake setting is beautiful and there is kayaking and disc golf and many different hikes. The hike up to Pulpit Rock has three steep step inclines met with meadows and wide rock spaces. The hike is worth every step for the stunning and memorable views. It's quite an experience to look over the side of a cliff down about 2,000 feet. The hotel is rustic with it's front steps at the trailhead. The staff are helpful and friendly (thank you Adam and Natallia!). Most surprising feature in this hiking type lodge was the incredible dinners. The Norwegian food is prepared as in a five star restaurant and a had to thank the chef for the Asparagus soup and the meatball and vegetables main course. The room is comfortable with a nice lake view. A great stay!

Ett fint boende med trevlig personal Perfekt utgångs läge för vandringen till Preikestolen

Ligger på startstreken til Prekestolen. God mat, og god frokost. Lite intimt hotell. Anbefaler det om du tenker prekestolen med overnatting.

Das Zimmer war schön, allerdings war die Duschtür undicht und das Wasser lief darunter heraus. Alles sehr hellhörig. Preise für das Abendessen sind enorm hoch.

Der var en virkelig sød person på dagen. Resten af personale og service var ikke særligt godt. Stedet er alt for dyrt ift hvad man får i hovedhuset. Små værelser, lille bad, mørkt rum, ikke god service. Restauranten lavede god mad. Men god placering og kun det man kommer for. Man bør måske tage sovesalen eller hytte som er billigere. Man får ikke noget specielt ekstra ved de dyre værelser.
