Staff is super nice and helpful

Honestly a nice place to stay. Decent area walkable restaurants nearby. There's street parking for hotel stayers (its says only 15min though so I don't know the specifications of it). Very nice and helpful staff!

You definitely get what you pay for. The building is very old. The room is very small as well but it does the job if you are just using it to sleep. It’s very bare bones but good location.

Chambres minuscules, même pas de verre dans les chambres, baignoire même pas nettoyé, pas d'air climatisé, look affreux des "chambres", lobby affreux, ce qui fait qu'on a envie de ne jamais revenir à cet établissement

L'hôtel style victorien n'ouvre pas avant 16h, ne dispose pas de garde bagage. Chambres au 4e sans ascenseur dans un escalier exigu. Au rez de chaussée café soluble et thé avec 2 thermos d'eau chaude à disposition.

Very convenient and clean.

Very dingy. I regret booking this. Dirty floors and hallways. Chunks of paint missing from the walls. The cheapest sheets imaginable (pilling and slightly stained). No bag storage. Front desk is not 24/7. Poorly insulated room door (I could hear every word spoken in the hallways from inside my room. I spent as little time as possible there. Front desk staff was nice though.

Beaucoup de magasins à proximité, près du centre‑ville et de la gare d’autobus Orléans Express. En termes de rapport qualité‑prix et d’emplacement, c’est parfait. Le personnel est très aimable, l’endroit est propre et calme. C’est la troisième fois que je choisis cette auberge, et j’y retournerai sans hésitation.

Everything was satisfactory, I stayed at the first floor; if you have a big suitcase, you should keep in mind that they don’t have elevator

It’s a good spot for a quick and cheap stay. It will get the job done. However, I do wish they had more staff on site and communicated clearer expectations about check-out times. Otherwise, it’s a nice find.

You have more than for what you pay: the hotel is 5 a minutes walk from Berri-UQAM, the main metro station in Montreal and 15 minutes from plateau Mont-Royal. The price is very low, the room was simple but clean and the bed was comfy. A great choice if you want to save money but be located centrally in Montreal. And the staff is nice.

Clean room. For the price I will say it’s worth it. Just don’t expect too much. Room was surprisingly spacious with a little desk. I Would stay again

I guess you get what you pay for. While the room was clean(ish) (found tufts of hair in the sheets), it was fairly rundown, e.g. worn caulking in the bathtub with pink mildew. Precarious stairways - definitely not accessible. All the renovations were kind of makeshift and kludgy. That said, the staff was friendly and explained everything very clearly. The location was convenient. If you're just there to sleep and that's it, it's OK, otherwise, I'd pay $20 more for an upgraded spot.
