Very helpful staff, great position

What I like: Both room and bathroom is very large and spacious. Great location, literally a 3 minute walk to the beach that can be seen from the balcony, A nice balcony to sit outside at night, enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. Within walking distance to train station, Hove and Brighton beach, grocery stores, hotels and cafes. Nice helpful staff. What I didn’t like: Hallway smelled of cigarette smoke and so did the pillows.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room dirty and very tired. The curtains were hanging off, the bathroom was filthy and toilet seat broken,didnt take socks off as carpet disgusting ( take slippers/flip flops) We only booked for 1 night as a base so only slept there, was a good locstion but in desperste need of a good cleaner and some TLC

Beautiful property, staff were friendly and very help! A bit of a march to Brighton but worth it. Very cost effective!! Also If you fancy an outstanding brekky, an so not want to walk far, go to Oeuf cafe, two doors down towards the sea, worth every penny.

Excellent 👌. I recently stayed at Hotel Langfords in Brighton, and everything about the experience was absolutely amazing. I’ll admit I was quite nervous about booking after reading some negative reviews online, but the reality was the complete opposite of what I saw; my stay was fantastic from start to finish. If you’re feeling hesitant based on what you’ve read, I would strongly encourage you to look past those comments and give them a chance—I am so glad I did, and I would definitely stay here again.

Had to uber to Brighton city centre but it was alright

The hotel is very old and lack of maintenance. There are stains all over the carpets. The stairs made lots of noise when walking. It was noisy in the room at night. There is no sound proof and the door doesn’t seem to be secured. The room is filled with weed smell from the street. Read Google Map reviews before booking. The reviews are a contrast compared to Expedia with lots of negative comments. Told hotel staff about the smell in room. He told me to write down my review. There were other negative reviews on the paper.

The room was amazing the only problem was that the tv doesn’t work there is no channels 1-19 .

Room was good ,staff were very friendly, hotel situated close to seafront and a short bus ride to Brighton town centre.

It was fine for my single booking, way cheaper than the premier inn - it was quiet - good position- shower - toilet and bed all fine - you won’t get luxury but you will get good value

I recently stayed at this hotel during my holiday and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, well-presented, and very comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. My room was spotless, spacious, and had everything I needed for a pleasant visit. What truly stood out was the outstanding service from the staff. Everyone was warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile, which made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest. Their attention to detail and hospitality made a big difference. The location was also ideal, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy my holiday. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a memorable stay. I will definitely return in the future.

The hotel is basic and in need of renovation.

Ideal for beach, restaurants and bus routes to brighton

The staff at reception barely greeted us as we walked in, asked for the booking name gave us a key and that was it. The hotel itself and our room smelt like old smoke and really musky. Our radiator in the bathroom was leaking all red liquid across the floor, not to mention the horrible step between the bedroom and bathroom. Surprised we didn’t trip over it! The window was so old and was shaking constantly in the night due to the wind which also then made the door shake too so we didn’t get hardly any sleep! Definitely way too expensive, would not stay here again.

Spacious and clean room. Much bigger room than other hotels I have stayed at. 1 Min walk to beach and to high street. Friendly and welcoming staff.
